“First visit here and rate it 👍 Parking is easy and right by the beach, £5 for all day - up to 2200hrs. This beach is dog friendly and no restrictions. Location is easy to find and right on the coastal footpath. Access to the beach is via steps at two locations and both are fairly steep, but doable. The beach itself is a mix of sand and areas of rock, so plenty of pools and formations to explore.”
Church Bank, Jarrow NE32 3DY, United Kingdom
“A cute little museum with lots of animals. Gives a good insight into the history of Bede and the Monastery nearby. Highly recommended for both kids and adults alike. You do need to buy a season pass (valid from Feb-Dec) which gives unlimited entry. Also some cute working cats onsite.”
Doxford Works, Pallion Quay, Sunderland SR4 6TQ, United Kingdom
“Recommended by a friend and I really enjoyed it the bouldering is set out with some really good puzzles to solve from beginner to expert good way of warming up before hitting the big walls. Enjoyed the Slab wall with tricky puzzles but makes it fun solving them 😊. Had a breather and a gorgeous fired Pizza with nice crispy base cooked to perfection just how I like them not too heavy so climbing afterwards was good. Facilities were clean and tidy, and the staff are really friendly and helpful. Can’t wait to return and conquer some of the big walls.”

“We had a brilliant time, especially with Alan as our instructor! His guidance and enthusiasm made the experience unforgettable. He was safety-conscious, patient and ensured we had a blast hitting those targets. I highly recommend this place, especially with Alan as your instructor. Five stars all the way! 🪓🎯🌟 …”

“Easy to access tabs, nabigate and locate the required information. Fantastic staff, very helpful and was able to sort my booking very quickly - even when I had to call back and amend! A fantastic start to our experience. Looking forward to our visit.”

“Tumble funtime is one of my daughter's (2yo) favourite places to go! She loves bouncing on the trampolines and being allowed the freedom to try all the other equipment without the constraints of a formal class. I would highly recommend as an activity for toddlers.”
141 High St W, Sunderland SR1 1TR, United Kingdom
“Family birthday night out. Bowling plus golf. Staff welcoming, knowledgeable and friendly. Everything followed so smoothly. Brilliant atmosphere. Had a food and drinks package. Absolute value for money. Food was served on time and hot. All in all a fab evening. Thankyou to all the staff you helped make a good night even better.”
Ropery Rd, Gateshead NE8 2HD, United Kingdom
“Excellent pitches all refurbished recently. Good changing facilities. Not the cheapest pitches to hire but definitely worth the money.”
Hillheads Rd, Whitley Bay NE25 8HP, United Kingdom
“Decent sized ice however the place is so dated and there nowhere near enough room to put your Skates on like seats. The place is pretty grubby looking too. Not enough ticket booths or skate booths so the queues end up being stupidly long.”
8a Shaftesbury Ave, South Shields, Jarrow NE32 3UP, United Kingdom
“My son had his 10th birthday at Over Ride . Staff were amazing looked after the kids and all of the party had the best time. Will recommend as such a great experience for the kids. Thank you again!!!”
