Kempegowda International Airport Bengaluru (blr)
4.6
( 8 reviews ) $$

KIAL Rd, Devanahalli, Bengaluru, Karnataka 560300, India

“Bangalore's Kempegowda International Airport is a state-of-the-art, tastefully designed airport that provides a comfortable journey. The check-in and security procedures are quick and easy, and the terminal is roomy and tidy. The airport offers a range of facilities to suit different preferences, such as lounges, shops, and restaurants. The connection of the airport is commendable, and the staff is generally friendly. However, peak hours can result in lengthier lines and wait times, just as at any major airport. All things considered, Kempegowda International Airport serves as an important entry point to the area and leaves a favourable impression on both domestic and foreign visitors. There are two lounges at the airport: normal and premium. If you have the necessary credit, you can use them for a very small price. It costs either Rs. 1 or Rs. 2 for the regular lounge and Rs. 499 or Rs. 599 for the premium lounge. I had an excellent overall experience at this airport. Overall score of one. Overall cleanliness score of ten. 2. Stores, services, everything - 10/10 3. 9/10 for connectivity 4. Employee conduct: 10/10”

Alliance Air
4.1
( 16 reviews )

Indira Gandhi International Airport, Terminal 1, Old Lufthansa Hanger, Air India Limited, New Delhi, Delhi 110037, India

“Here I thought that Alliance Air, a new brand, had the chance to redeem the terrible service that Air India has. Alas. Had two flights booked with Alliance. Both had the remark “Departure Subject to Weather” as the destination airport didn’t have IFR capabilities. Fair enough and that’s not the airline’s problem. One of those flights did get cancelled. You live and learn. The issue is the Mumbai ground staff who recite a stock standard response when you ask why a commercial flight needs weather clearance in a country with mostly temperate weather. “If your flight is cancelled you can collect your luggage here” no more no less was said.”
