“This place is a hidden gem of placer county. Located in Roseville at the fairgrounds? The All-American speedway is the go to spot for race fans. This place is a great for a family outing. Has something for everyone. It very convenient, has shade in the grand stands and food and drinks for everyone. Definitely cool to check out the up and coming racer car drivers of the area. Check out the schedule for firework nights. I also recommend the trailer bash! Tons of fun for $20.”

“Very nice college Baseball Field! The field is in excellent condition with great proportions. Great views of the entire field from anywhere in the stands. Parking is $8 back near campus at Lot 32 with shuttle busses starting two hours before the game and running 20 minutes after the game. Better to buy the tickets in advance from the UCLA baseball website. $10 for general admission and $5 for youth. There are two snack bars with reasonable prices. The 3rd base side stands quickly get in the shade in the afternoon. Evening games get quite cold since it is so close to the ocean. Only complaint is the very limited bathrooms. Even if the stands are less than 1/2 full there is usually a long line.”

“Very kind, friendly and helpful people here at this yacht club! Great vibe if you're looking to learn sailing with people who have the patience to answer any stupid questions, and not make you feel bad about it. We joined for the small sail boat day, and had a great time with experienced folks, as they welcomed us into their personal boats and gave us a free ride. This just might be the friendliest yacht club on the bay, as one of the long time members said... it's not 'stuffy' like some of the other ones (take that St. Francis yacht club) Thank you Richmond Yacht Club! See you again very soon!”

“The Pruneridge Golf Club in Santa Clara is a popular golf course located in the heart of Santa Clara. It offers a semi-challenging 9-hole course and various amenities for golfers. They have couple of par 4's, mostly are par 3's. Makes it rightfully challenging for amateur golfers. They have 19th hole bar, very nice! They have finger food and burgers. They have two level driving range and good parking. They also offer group or private coaching.”

“Needed a resting place from our road trip and chose this park based on the reviews. It worked in a jiffy but restroom facilities were unusable - like you light walk out of there with disease. Ick. Playground area was good but sunny. Grassy area was freshly mowed but full of garbage all around the park- do not walk around here sans shoes. The water is super dirty. They even had the stereotypical floating barrel of waste in it! Yuck!”

“Candlewood is a very mature course. Leave your slice at home..as most holes do not favor this swing. Fairways were in great shape and the greens are definitely true but faster than most courses I play. Staff were friendly and personal. Food was excellent.”

“Gleneagles is open for golfing - disc and traditional. Got in 9 holes today and enjoyed some great weather and a 1h45m round. Course is in ok shape; the greens seemed to have been given the most TLC but the fairways and tee boxes were a little rough at times. The layout overall is pretty fun though, with some challenging shots to keep it interesting. They’ve got 2 tee boxes for each hole, so you can play a full 18 if you want to get in a full round. Will definitely come back with how close this course is to SF. LOVE how they’ve operating to make it easy to social distance! Only 2 golfers at a time, walking only. Show up no earlier than 15 minutes before your round and leave as soon as you’re finished. You can book via email - just make sure you specify if you want a round of disc golf or regular golf.”
