“A Burger so good I had to take a shower after I was done.... I have traveled many many counties, had Burgers in many places. I felt bad for getting a burger in Switzerland, because usually I just eat whatever is local, but this place looked good. The experience was amazing from first stepping through the door. Staff was a pleasure, the owner speaks English well enough, I thought he was from the US. Great Beer Selection as well. I ordered the special "hot" burger that they are making right now. It was the perfect balance of spicy and flavorful. The flavor combinations just melted together in your mouth and the beef was cooked perfectly, even without asking how I liked it. Truly one of, if not the best burger I have had anywhere in the world. It is huge with all the ingredients, and when first delivered, I wondered how to tackle it. You just go for it. Put your face in there and go to work. You will be covered with the juice, but will not mind as the experience is heaven. Make time to stop here if you are in the area, and say hi to Marcel, he is a really great guy to talk with and learned some fantastic things about the area, other countries, and life in general.”

“I rarely give a bad grade but speak about ruining good meal! The service was terrible, truly terrible. It started with dropping the drinks on my partner and not being overly concerned about doing this, it continued with a stressed out waiter who couldn't wait to take away our starters nor could he be bothered to put the forks and knives correctly (for what? It was pretty empty). The worst part was completely forgetting my partner order. They served the food to my kids and me but not her. It can happen to everyone to forget but like I said, it wasn't busy and they passed by us many times, not even wondering why everyone was eating except one. When I brought this omission to their attention, they needed to ask and apparently the kitchen forgot. Sometimes you just need to switch your gears on, which evidently wasn't possible for them. At that point my partner had waited so long that she wasn't interested in eating anymore. It's so disappointing when good food is ruined by poor service. Sorry but the owner should also educate their waiter to better customer service.”

“I should have known when we walked up for dinner on a Saturday night around 8 pm and the restaurant was practically empty, what I was getting in to. We ordered their snack plate appetizer but they were out of shrimp so told us it was substituted with tempura. I asked if it was the same price and the server assured me “it’s a lot of tempura”. I guess 4 pieces of green beans is a lot to some people. The spring rolls were also cold and undercooked. We waited about 25-30 minutes for our mains. I had the fish and chips and my husband had the James burger. My fish and chips were also cold and the fish was super bland and dry. The burger was undercooked and you could tell it was literally pulled out of the fridge, thrown on the grill and then slapped onto a bun. I would absolutely not recommend this place. I’m shocked the reviews are as good as they are.”
