They're made with fresh and high-quality ingredients that result in juicy, flavorful burgers that are cooked to perfection. Whether you're a fan of classic cheeseburgers or you prefer something more adventurous, Zweite Heimat has something for everyone. What's even more impressive is their selection of vegetarian and vegan burgers. I was pleasantly surprised by the options available, which included a chickpea and sweet potato patty for vegetarians and a lentil and vegetable patty for vegans. Both were absolutely delicious and bursting with flavor. The prices at Zweite Heimat are very fair and reasonable considering the quality and taste of the food. However, as there aren't many seats available, I would highly recommend making a reservation in advance to secure a table. Overall, Zweite Heimat is a fantastic spot to grab a casual and delicious meal in Passau. From their mouth-watering burgers to their friendly staff and cozy atmosphere, everything about this place was top-notch. I would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for an amazing burger joint in Passau.”

“I'd say one of the best burgers to be found in Germany is actually in Eschwege! You can really feel the owners put their soul and thought into making a special burger. The patty is really scrumptious and unique tasting. I personally always get the Schmand or Eskinivvach. They pair the burgers with hipster soda and ben n jerries, which goes well. The staff are friendly and smile a lot. I would just say the veggie burger can be upgraded to an impossible burger perhaps! 10/10 would come back and bring my friends. Also good to eat after a hard workout.”

“Food is very good, but options are very limited. I came here with a group and wanted to try the desserts while the other group members wanted a proper dish. The staff outright refused to serve me a kid's portion even though I told them I wanted to spare some room for ALL desserts. They forced me to order a starter instead. Later, when the main course was finished we had to actively call the waiter to the table to order dessert. Once again they did not take me seriously, so I had to order the desserts over multiple orders. What a pain. -- Do me a favour: You are running a business. If a customer says they are there for desserts, let them order a kid's dish and all desserts at once. If people are joking about being a sweet tooth, they will let you know. Otherwise, take them seriously!”
