I’ve tried lots of different dishes here over the years, but always come back to chicken fried chicken, it’s just that good. Expect exceptional food with generous portions at reasonable prices. Do yourself a favour and visit Creole Soul Kitchen. It’s a hidden gem in Brisbane. Marc, Leena and team are so friendly! (Ask Marc about Elvis).”

“Stayed in Port Douglas for two weeks and ate at N17 burger every second day. Food was delicious and reasonably priced. Most staff were very friendly and TVs showing sport were enjoyable. Our favourites were the vegan burger (we're not vegan but this was so tasty) and the loaded fries which we found to be much much more spicy than the chicken. They do also have the best shakes in the area!!!”

“Thanks Bobbie for your service. Our order had a beautifully cooked calli burger, Big Bopper and a big farmer. The cauliflower bites absolutely rock! Our family night out we shared the onion rings and highly recommend the southern fried chicken. Well done burger urge! So busy that we had to share our dinner time with a rowdy group with gutter mouths at the next table. It won't put us off eating here again .”

TGI Friday overlooks Surfers Paradise and is a beautiful location to watch the sunset while having a beverage. We took our teenagers who ordered mocktails and burgers and enjoyed the night out.”

“I have had two very polar opposite experiences here. The first time we dined there since the renovations, the food and service were excellent. Impressive large portions and very quick service. After such a great experience, we booked a table of 8 and we were all incredibly disappointed. Firstly, our food took an hour to arrive. The serving sizes were dismal. I have never been so shocked with the sizing of the portions for a hotel/pub meal. Even our bowl of chips was sad. I will not be in a hurry to go back after that experience. It’s a shame as the kids area is a great attraction for a family.”

“I think because technology has taken over service hasn't kept pace, we were seated, handed the menus and ordered via the app. No specials explained or anything really, until the drinks and meals were delivered. Then when paying the app asks for a tip! Yeah right, no service and asking for tips, get real... The portion size was good and food overall was yummy, although steaks are pricey. With so many more places to go I won't probably be back again in a hurry.”

“Staff think they are not there for customer service. In particular staff member Debbie who is rude and obnoxious. Eg I asked if the loud speaker music, in the gaming room, could be decreased. Male staff member obliged and the atmosphere was improved. Then Debbie walks in and increases volume to the previous level. This is not the only time I have personally received unsatisfactory customer service from Debbie. Again I feel she needs additional training in customer service. Though as she was been employed in the SAME position for several years, I have reasonable expectations that this staff members behaviour and her level of customer service would ever improve. To such an extent I am always surprised that she has continued her employment.”

“I celebrated my 40th birthday dinner here last night and honestly, it was made very special.l, by the company I had with me, and the outstanding service, meals and drinks we shared on the night. The waiting staff were truly exceptional and a BIG THANK YOU, to Joe when we were paying our bill. Joe was amazingly efficient, thoughtful and made me feel special with my birthday celebration, in his kindness and the service he provided for the night. Thanks again for that. Thank you to the excellent chefs also, as your food was exquisite and went down like a treat !! Thank you also for the complimentary amuse-bouche and complimentary dessert also, from the chefs, as it definitely was a lovely highlight to the night. I can highly recommend anyone visit here, as it's my favourite restaurant in Brisbane and my 4th time here in the past 4+ years, as I once was a guest at the lovely hotel. Great job everyone and I hope you all have a lovely Christmas.”

“Wow. The wings were fantastic, huge, and perfectly cooked. My mouth writes cheques, that my stomach can't cash! There are so many options to choose from, too including the sides. Great iced tea as well. And I still have to leave room for Jam or chocolate filled donut sandwich. Service was super fast even though there were lots of people, and several large groups. I can't wait to go back. Update have been back three times, so far. Still the best wings I have had.”
