“I ordered eggs Benedict with hashbrowns and a large glass of orange juice. The food was mediocre at best.... the hollandaise sauce tasted like neither lemon nor butter, it was basically just a bland, flavorless sauce. The hashbrowns weren't cooked properly and tasted like raw potatoes and the orange juice was so watery that I think they must not have had enough for a large glass so they watered it down to fill my glass. My son, however, said the sausage and Belgian waffles were great. The one positive is that our server was friendly, attentive and polite.”

“Came to celebrate a special double date. We loved everything we ate. The dishes were not only beautifully put together but delicious and well balanced. There wasn’t anything we didn’t like. We ordered the catch of the day, beef, and pappardelle for entrees. For appetizers we got the winter salad, gnocchi, scallops, and deviled eggs. For dessert we ordered one of each of the desserts. Not too sweet and delicious. The cocktails were also solid. Truly an all around great dinning experience. The ambiance is nice but not pretentious. The servers were kind and the food was paced out well. Would definitely return here!”

“Down here in Wilmington working for the first time and it's been terrible for food, but then I went to this fantastic location. The food was really fresh and flavourful. The bar was full stocked with all kinds of fancy bourbon and whiskey. The staff was friendly and professional. The place was really nicely decorated and comfortable as well. I would classify the food as uppity bar food, but tastefully done. I most certainly will be back”

“Cute breakfast and lunch joint with indoor and outdoor seating although I think outdoor was closed when we visited. Orange juice was fresh squeezed and delicious. I ordered the French toast with fruit and granola and it was huge. I only ate half. My husband enjoyed his western omelette also big. Although I didn’t imbibe there were many options for breakfast cocktails and I had to resist the urge to order a Bloody Mary or Kahlua in coffee.”

“Hubby, our 17 month old, and I came for dinner around 7:30 on a Wednesday night after strolling around the boardwalk. Staff is friendly and attentive. We had the street corn w/ crab and tortilla chips for our app, along with entrees of rainbow poke bowl, short rib w/ rice & green beans, and kids meal of fried rockfish w/ fries. Potions are generous, priced reasonably, and tasted delicious. We were stuffed! Hubby also got a beer. Place is bright and clean. Highly recommend it. We’ll be back next time we’re in town.”

The food was delicious, as was my cocktail, a Rock on Rosie. We had loaded crab fries, chicken tenders and fries, hush puppies, potato salad, steamed shrimp and a seafood platter.”

“We decided to give this place a try as we were walking along the boardwalk. The food looked appetizing based on the menus they have outside. The service was great at the bar. There were no seats available when we got there but the bar was completely empty. The crushes were really good and me and my friend enjoyed them. The food was just okay. And they were not really open to subbing items. I think it is a good alternative to some of the takeout food that you would normally get on the boardwalk.”

“We popped in here for a table for 9 at 5pm when we were having trouble getting seated anywhere else. We were all quite glad that we did! The place is so well decorated, the staff is friendly and attentive, and the food is fantastic! We had an app of Crispy Brussel Sprouts, which were fantastic! Then we had 3 order the cod and loved it, 2 RAH burgers that were fantastic, a Blueberry Walnut Salad that was very fresh and light, a Mussels special that made my hubby very happy, and a kids hot dog (nothing fancy, but made the kid happy). All of us were impressed, and happy with our experience!!”

“My husband and myself treated ourselves for a New Year’s Eve dinner. Nicole being our server saved our night. She is an awesome server, bubbly, knows her stuff, so excited about the food she serves! To our disappointment the food wasn’t what we expected. We ordered the porterhouse for two. Medium rare, mashed potatoes and asparagus. We have had a steak dinner for two in a few other Resturants, it has always been served sliced, well when this steak came out it was not medium rare it was over cooked for our liking and it was not sliced. My husband had to slice it on a dish that kept sliding on the table, if your not going to slice it then you should serve it on a cutting board. It also was served with green beans not asparagus, which I would guess your kitchen did not communicate with your servers since nicole had no idea that they had given us green beans. She did offer to return the steak to the kitchen since it was so over cooked, but we said no since it was getting late. With all this being said I don’t believe we will be dining here again.”

Anthony was amazing to work with and made everything so easy for us (he ordered the cake, decorated an arch we could use for a backdrop, created an amazing menu inclusive of vegan/vegetarian and kidfriendly options, let us use their office to get ready in and more - really went above and beyond). The room was spectacularly decorated for the holidays. The staff and bartenders were great. Would highly recommend Hamilton's for events, or for dinner or happy hour.”

“They basically only have chicken fingers and a chicken sandwich for entrees. They have homemade sauces, their special sauce which to me had a black peppery flavor and honey mustard that tasted mayo like to me. They have ketchup but not BBQ sauce which I found odd and I really think would have made it more enjoyable for me. I thought the chicken was good quality. The fries are a thin crinkle cut. Not a coleslaw fan so I can't comment on that. My favorite part of the meal (besides the little ice that's fun to chew) was the garlic bread. My 11yo thought it was the best chicken and fries he has had so we will likely be going back. The facility itself was new, bright and clean. Staff friendly. The parking lot lay out was strange to me. Looked like people were moving pretty quickly through the drive in but we dined in so can't say for sure. Definitely worth a try!”
