Gather of Maui is none of that, terrific setting with plenty of space an uncrowded feel even there was plenty of capacity. Plenty of easy parking right out front, and an elegant feel of the gardens walking in. Enthusiastic service and good food.”

“I'm not sure if they changed ownership in the past 6-months, but the brisket in this photos is not what they were serving. What I had was more like roasted beef with smoke flavoring... and not much of it. The texture was reflective of that, too; mushy and watery flavored. Anyway, the photo says it all. You can see there's no smoke layer, nor bark from being inside of a smoker. To add insult to injury, I ordered a double portion, so my dinner was $35. I would've been better off getting prime rib at Cafe ole. Also, the Mac & cheese is basic (maybe even Velveeta), not the multi-cheese they claimed. And, I'm not sure what took 20-minutes to get my food out? Everything should've already been cooked. Even the corn bread was soppy and cool.”

“Stumbled upon this restaurant (quite a lot in the area but so happy we found it!!) the views are immaculate with the sunset as you are literally right on the water. Unlike the other restaurants, they sit on the other side of the street and its not as close to the ocean. Great service (they were short staffed at the time but still got us every thing we needed quickly). The food was good! Surprisingly fresh and their pizzas are worth the visit alone!”

Every dish was literally amazingly — from the mango guava nonalcoholic cocktails to the crispy fried sunfish to the classic pepperoni pizza and the cheesecake dessert — all were beautifully plated & tasted fresh and delicious. The food servers were swamped but did a great job at working together to provide excellent service. This is an elegant restaurant with warm wood surroundings. Super clean restrooms. I highly recommend it to anyone wanting to celebrate a special occasion. We had an amazing meal that we’ll remember fondly for a long long time!”

“Got a dinner salad here two nights in a row it was so good! Think of a Mod pizza but for higher end salads and sandwiches. Really tasty ingredients. Friendly staff. Reasonable price. “Came in for dinner for 2 and got seated right away. Lovely atmosphere that I'm sure is even better during the day. Great variety of food options, and everything we ordered was good or great. Unfortunately, our experience was marred by an inattentive server who spent more time chatting with the bartender than checking in on us (other tables seemed to have better service by other servers), forgetting to tell us that certain sides were not available, or just generally not being helpful (needing silverware, drinks refilled, needing to pay the bill, etc.). Overall would love to go back and enjoy the food, hopefully with a different server.”

“The brunch menu for Christmas Eve lunch was a nice surprise. The names were very catchy cute and we waited for each dish with anticipation. Appearance/plating is 5-stars. The flavor, textures, combinations were not as good as we expected. Naan-ya was the best choice overall. Food overall was 3.5 stars. The ambience is charming with the wall mural. However being seated in the open patio section had a lot of ambient noise from proximity to kitchen and air conditioning as well as flooring not absorbing sounds. The pace of the lunch was nice, allowing for conversation to flow while we waited on starters/veggie choices and mains. Service was 4-stars. Value for money =3.”

“CASH ONLY! My husband and I went here twice while on vacation. Tucked away behind some buildings is this gem of a breakfast place. Good portions and good price. Be aware that this is a Cash Only Business so make sure you have cash on you. Everything we tried tasted amazing! I’m sad we found this place on our last full day but will be coming back next time we visit. Only down side is there’s no place to sit and eat so you might have to settle for taking it to the beach or sitting in your car. Very hot meals though so it would last the drive. Highly recommend this place”

“Olive Garden is Olive Garden it seems no matter which branch you go to. Stumbled upon one in Ala Moana center and it was just as I remembered. The bread sticks weren't as soft and cloudy as I recall but perhaps my taste buds have evolved over the past few years. Spaghetti was straight forward with obviously the meatballs never cooked completely warm inside... And the salad, again was okay, but nothing spectacular. I'm happy that Olive Garden continues to live on and plays it safe. But day after day, it loses character and is an afterthought to many. Never planned. Just stumbled upon.”
