“I'd say one of the best burgers to be found in Germany is actually in Eschwege! You can really feel the owners put their soul and thought into making a special burger. The patty is really scrumptious and unique tasting. I personally always get the Schmand or Eskinivvach. They pair the burgers with hipster soda and ben n jerries, which goes well. The staff are friendly and smile a lot. I would just say the veggie burger can be upgraded to an impossible burger perhaps! 10/10 would come back and bring my friends. Also good to eat after a hard workout.”

“A wonderful place for the XL food lovers! They have a large variety of food and drinks in all sizes and the prices are excellent. The waitresses were nice to us. The only things that I would complain were that the XL schnitzel was actually two big ones, which loses the charm of the XL thing, and that the waitresses were rarely around us, taking into account that the place was almost empty. Appart from that, I can only recommend this place for the good quality and price of the food.”

On behalf of my parents, I would like to leave a review: We were warmly welcomed in a cozy room that was reserved especially for us and were always looked after attentively. The service was extremely courteous and attentive, and we were regularly asked about our well-being. The food was consistently excellent and no one could fault it. We felt well looked after and the drinks and food were served quickly and on time so that everyone could enjoy it together. This definitely deserves an extra service point. We had an unforgettable evening and are deeply grateful to everyone in the restaurant for giving my father and our family such a wonderful time. We enjoyed every minute and would like to thank you from the bottom of our hearts. ♥”

“I imagine it's recommended to make a reservation for the tables inside. It was a weeknight but lovely weather and there were no tables available inside the boat. We were able to sit outside on their dock area. Quick service (by EU standards) nice local wine served along with a few cocktail style drinks. I had one there previously that was refreshing made with Lillet (I do not think they serve hard liquor) The Currywurst is quite good. It comes with fresh delicious multigrain brotchen (small roll)”

We had Ribeye Steaks, Smoked Pulled Beef, Tuna Steak, Yukka Fries, Bruscetta, different Crocketts, Spinach and grilled Vegetables. Everybody at our table was very satisfied with the taste and amount of her/ his food! Not a single claim. All steaks exactly on point and pulled beef juicy. Our service, a young Spanish man, he was great. Funny and communicative, attentive and friendly. An extra big GRACIAS to him🤝 The ambience is modern cool, but not cold. Only the acoustic is a little critical. When it's full, it is a little loud. Some sound absorber on the ceiling could help to reduce the echo of guest's voices. But this is a very small claim. No reason, not to go there!”
