No alcohol and a prayer mat 🫶🏼 Service Personal was very kind, but we had to wait for cleaning the table and bringing the menue, but they apologized. The restaurant was decorated just normal and plain, but it was clean at all.”

“After entering we waited at least 5 minutes before someone came next to us. The manager gave his staff a lot of punishment in front of us. We were then sent to a table for 2 people even though we had reserved for 4. Then we were dumped in the back somewhere. When no one had come to us for a drink after fifteen minutes, a whole staff in the kitchen really irritated me with the way they talked to each other, we decided to leave and then had a delicious meal at IJzer. So big minus points for the bears. My first and last time with the bears unfortunately”

“We were really looking forward to trying this place, as the menu looked good and the atmosphere was cool. It was a Monday night, pretty dead and the service from the server was not great, we rarely got checked on by her and we would have ordered more drinks if she had. We chose the 4 course chefs choice. The first two courses were really rich and could have been shared by two people - the buratta was covered in a really sweet jam and it was too much with the rich flavor of the buratta. The tartar was also very rich and could have been shared, the balance was off and the richness could have been offset with something else. Our main course was the most delicious, a perfectly tender and tasty pork. That made it more worth while. The desert was good, but I can’t remember what it was now… it fell a little flat for us. A bit disappointed for the reviews and being recommended by the Michelin guide.”

“Burger was great, the toppings paired well, hand made fresh sweet cucumber/pickles with other crisp toppings, the bun was perfectly toasted, was soft but still has a crunch on the edge when you bite into it. Burger was juicy even though it was cooked medium well. The truffles fries were good, and had a good crunch and not soggy from the topping. I had the pineapple margarita, overall good.”

“What an amazing smash burger! It’s in top two best smash burgers in Amsterdam for me! I had the Artisaniac (second pic) which had 4 smashed patties and my guest had Artisani (2 smashed patties). We also had cheesy fries. Burgers are really really tasty. Cooked perfectly and seasoned well. Buns are amazing brioches also very tasty. I’d like the pickles to be chopped smaller as they fall while eating. Although I like the raw onions taste, slightly pickled onions would be better as raw onions are too sharp. It’s halal meat and feels surprisingly light even. Only criticism is to cheesy fries. The cheese sauce is very fake it almost feels like eating instant cheese sauce (maybe it is?). I wish they had served good quality Dutch style fries instead of this super processed potato material. It is disappointing and only element it makes you sad considering their burgers are soooo good. If they upgrade to good fries as well, this place will be top! Service is good and super fast. Bam! These guys deliver. Will definitely go again but to have good burgers (not fries).”

“We were greeted really friendly and seated immediately. We were allowed to order quickly and there were no issues about sharing dishes, they were quick to bring out extra plates for us. The dishes were super flavorful and filling, too. The only thing was that it was quite loud and sometimes we had a hard time understanding each other when talking.”

“Beautiful building with large mosaic murals on both walls. The bistro is a bit of a bar and maybe has more of a vibe during the day. We came for dinner and it was quite empty. The lighting is a bit bright so is not as cozy as it could be. The waiters took ages to clear the tables around the restaurant so we sat amongst dirty tables for half of the meal. The food itself was fine. We had burgers, they were well made and quite tasty. Overall nothing special but the setting is worth a visit.”

In the meanwhile we were summoned to move chairs to not block the path (which the younger slimmer girls could pass easily several times), where they also could go arround easily. The sun was burning at 14 o clock and we were trying to sit a bit more in the shade. Food was good, drinks were cold (which they were supposed to be). Just an unfriendly staffmember.”
