“Definitely a diner. But it's good! The salad bar is good, and they did a good job on keeping items stocked. The hot bar is basic food... Mac and cheese, mashed potatoes and gravy, corn, peas, fried chicken, shrimp, fried cod bites... it was all basic but decent. The food on the menu was good! It was busy, went on a Friday night, and they take reservations. Plenty of seating. I had the grilled 1/4 lb pork chop. Delicious! They have a bar for cocktails. I hear the pies are amazing, but I was too full to try. Next time!”

“Unfortunately, I wasn’t very impressed with my experience. I reserved a spot in advance from my phone, yet there was still quite a wait. Once I did get a table, service was quite slow to respond to me. They were busy, and I understand that, but I was close to wanting to leave because no one was even coming to my table to bring me a water after quite some time. I don’t know this for sure, and I’m only speculating, but it felt like bigger tables received attention, but the single person with a much smaller ending check (means smaller tip) was neglected. Once I was tended to, I ordered. The sales that came was quite lame. A $24 steak, and the salad had no cheese, croutons, cucumbers, nothing. I received wilted lettuce that was partially frozen, and dressing. That’s it. Was expecting more from $24 steak and a place that was nice. The Mexican cheese balls were pretty good. The steak was a bit tough, and dry as well. There was juice on the plate, so I could mop ghat up a bit, but not sure where it came from, because the steak itself was was fairly dry. The cheesy hash browns were ok, but again, it was cheese slices, instead of grated cheese. This is a low budget diner way to make cheesy hash browns. A nice steakhouse should be grating cheese, instead of using Kraft singles. It’s very possible that I could have a better experience on another trip, but the lame salad and cheap cheese option would still be there, even if the staff paid attention to me and the steak was tender and juicy. I’d be willing to try it again, but I’m not excited to, nor is it on the top of my list. Too many good places around that get my attention, but it’s not out of the question.”

“I love my food spicy so this was a great treat for me. I had the shrimp and grits. Had a great uniquely flavored sauce with grits, large BBQ shrimp and toasted garlic bread. I may reccommend that a side vegetable should be added for a little more balance. Wife had the garlic lime chicken on pasta. The chicken was well seasoned which helped assist the pasta which she felt was needing a little more flavor. Also ordered their personalized coffee that we both found very good. We shared a slice of the chocolate cake. It was nice and thick, creamy and topped with a cinnamon flavored cayenne pepper looking candy. A comfortable and relaxed atmosphere. Staff made us feel welcome and were attentive. Good selection of wine, beer and other refreshments. Was also fun to see the open kitchen where you could view food preparation. I would advise calling ahead for a reservation. I would like to go back and try another dish to explore one of their BBQ dishes.”

“We had our company Christmas dinner here with 12 of us. Our waitress was outstanding! Most of us had some kind of steak and I heard no complaints. I got the tomahawk ribeye which is ridiculously huge but delicious. Prices are up there but no higher than other places. A side is included plus the whole salad bar and they bring you some bread. Pretty good value for great food! I also like that it is carpeted so not too noisy. I plan to return.”

It has a beautiful interior with modern touches. The food was delicious. We had the crab appetizer which was very good. My salmon was cooked to perfection and my husband got a burger with the most delectable fries. Large portions and very good service.”
