“No frills lobster shack - if you're looking for a quality, classic style lobster roll in New England you MUST go here. Portion is generous for lobster roll; also ordered the corn, coleslaw, and baked beans. Baked beans were 100! This place is BYOB. It accepts credit cards, but sodas are cash only vending machine ($1 bills only). Right on the water and plenty of seating makes it well-worth the drive for classic New England experience. 12 minute drive from Portsmouth, NH. Parking is either in the small lot or on the shoulder. You may have to U-turn a couple times to find a spot :)”

“Had the pleasure to dine here before catching a show at Cliff House. We started with the brussel sprouts which were amazing. My friend had the prime rib cooked to perfection and I had the seared scallops. We had the house special strawberry shortcake and lemon coconut cheese cake for dessert. The meal ŵas timed to perfection and we never felt rushed while still feeling the service was attentive.”

“Stopped at Union restaurant for lunch on a drive to Acadia national park. The restaurant is located in the very hip Press Hotel. My group and I really like the restaurant vibe and food! I had the “jump start” drink which had apple cider, turmeric, ginger and other healthy ingredients…surprisingly refreshing and not bitter! I had the grain bowl for lunch which was a healthy option that was really good! My husband really enjoyed the fish and chips! The col slaw was also very unique and great tasting. My friend really enjoyed the ham & cheese. Lunch scene on a Tuesday was good! Many filled tables. Would recommend it!”

“Stopped in for lunch. Parking is available but often full ...so you may need to park down the street a ways. You order inside at the counter and then they bring your food to you when it's ready. Prices are very reasonable for the Kennebunkport area. We enjoyed the senior portion Fish and Chips plate and split a Coke. Fries are delicious and fish is mild and fresh. Condiments are provided. Restrooms are available. They have a wide range of seafood to choose from and staff are pleasant.I felt like I got lucky to stumble into this local place. Dog friendly.”

“I've been to CBG four times and now consider it my go to late night spot in Portland. From the moment you enter the door you're greeted with friendly and welcoming staff. They're attentive and spot on with service, even when it's bustling in there. The atmosphere is kitschy in the best way and the food has a sense of elevation and attention to detail that I was pleasantly surprised by. Everything I've had there has been excellent. CBG has a following and although part of me wants to keep it a secret, it deserves a big shout out. I'm so glad they're part of the Portland scene.”

“Another work commitment commute brought me to the beautiful state of Maine. I stopped at The White Duck Brew Pub with a friend. The seafood here is very fresh and not greasy. We ordered the crab cakes and calamari. The crab cakes were lumpy with bits a crab and the calamari was “melt in your mouth” fresh and delicious. The salad and fish tacos portions were quite generous. The have outdoor seating as well with live music. The staff was friendly and accommodating.”
