“Just finished a business lunch there and was totally embarrassed. The smell of sewage & dirty mop water was overwhelming upon walking in the door. It's like they've been using the same mop head since they've opened. Had it not been for meeting a colleague, I would have walked out the door. The food was also not impressive, I had the fish tacos. It was like everything was just slopped on the plate. Way to much guacamole and sauce. You couldn't taste the fish at all. One bright note, our server was awesome, I hope she finds a job at a restaurant equal to her abilities.”

“Friends recommended us. Food was good & we enjoyed our birthday dinner. Until the bill the experience it was good except that the US uses magnetic stripe so our international credit cards were rejected. When we could not pay it all turned really sour. My wife went to a gas station to get cash while I stayed to sort things out. After I realized that I had my credit card authenticated for local use and the bill was paid. I then went to get my wife and when I returned to settle things I was abused and refused service by the owner. The staff thinking that I had not tipped them verbally abused me and so did the owner who did not take a moment to understand the real situation. Honestly that kind of prejudice is unacceptable and threatening to call the police, which he did in front of me, as he had “friends” on the police force typifies what is wrong with these type of restaurants. Many of my friends who live in Atlanta were horrified by this experience and agree that we need to rethink owners who really are abusive and perhaps too connected to the police .”

“Where to begin. We had reservation at 8:30 at booth but was seated at 9 and on terrace. I work at restaurant as well so understand that it can get busy. The only thing I don't understand is quality of food. From all we ordered - wedge salad and bacon were good. Shrimp cocktail was also pretty decent. -Oysters! Before opening they need to be washed. What we got was full of mud. - Steak. Just no! ordered med rare and got medium extra charred! - Fries was just a joke! Add some pic On the bright side server was super nice. And help with all our requests ☺️ But still I definitely won’t come back there again.”

“Disappointing visit. Steak empanada had undercooked dough on the inside. Steak was dry and pieces were burnt. For an up charge, I’d expect the steak to have flavor and be cooked properly. It did/was not. Was charged for an up charge for mezcal when it’s the same price as the tequila. They’ve also seemed to have the marg flavors pre-mixed and it’s not the same experience it used to be. The Al pastor always is on point, has flavor and I’d eat it eat every day. The dough was cooked through and super flaky. The caramel apple was FANTASTIC and somewhat redeemed the visit. I visit a lot and I’m hoping it’s just a fluke and not a downward trend.”

“This was my first time in Serenbe and it was a very nice time. We did 5pm dinner and it wasn't crowded at all (they opened at 5). There were 7 of us and our waitress was attentive and knowledgeable. The special was "Surf & Turf" a strip steak with lobster claw meat. The lobster was buttery and the steak perfectly cooked! But perhaps even better was the INCREDIBLE salmon. It was fresh and perfectly cooked with a delicious flavor. Highly recommend that dish and the Hill whenever you visit Serenbe.”

But before we even get to the inedible food, the two young ladies at the counter (if you could even call them) were having an horrendously inappropriate conversation that was sexual in nature and made us extremely uncomfortable. Please have some class. The food itself was definitely old as we got there as soon as they opened and the wings hurt to chew. My husbands fried rice had 2 literal shrimp and was so scarce you could see the bottom of the tray. I only came here because I was craving wings and all the good places were closed for Labor Day but heed this warning. This place is garbage. You can literally see the flesh of the wing is burnt smh”

The Dutch baby w fruit was yummy !! Decorated very cute. The coffees were my favorite! They do the designs in them. Mine was a swan. Great place for ladies' brunch. it was a loud in ther, but that's because they were full. The wait staff is nice, very patient, and helpful. We were there a long time, and no one said anything negative. We will Definitely be going back soon!!”
