“I was staying at the citizen a few weeks ago and ended up eating at the Grange. I must say the food was outstanding for a hotel bar / restaurant. The duck tarrine was one of the best I’ve had in the states. Although the bread was a bit too hard and too greasy for my likes. I like it crunchy but soft enough in the middle. The squash tempura was so good. And it came with a furikake aioli which was divine. I still think about it! The crab brioche were also super good but a little bit too much brioche for a small bite / appetiser. I had a glass of the carneros which was easy and entertaining enough. Service was very good. I thought the space was a bit too open and it was hard to socialise/ interact with others. Which I often seek at a hotel bar / restaurant.”

“We decided to try out a new to us place. We arrived for brunch after 10 am on a Sunday. The expected wait was 20 minutes, but it was closer to 10. Our server was friendly and gave us time to peruse the vast menu ( actually 3 menus). We started with coffee, hot chocolate, and an Irish coffee. We also ordered waffles to start. My partner and I split a sticky maple pecan. I forgot to take a picture of the full dish, but it was everything it advertised, sticky, maple, with bacon. The waffle itself was a Belgian gingerbread. It was definitely delicious. We moved on to entrees, I had the breakfast Sammy, others had the Folsom omelet, seafood, loco, and salmon Benedict. The portions were large, the food was hot. My hash browns were crispy. The only slight disappointment was the crab cake was very bready in the loco. The sandwich was full of bacon, eggs, and avocado. It was really good. We decided to add this location to our Sunday rotation. The service was excellent. The crew worked together seamlessly. If you like to drink, there's a full bar, specialty drinks and of course, mimosas.”

“I did not expect much at first but this place turns out to be great. I guess it can be really busy at some point but so far the service is pretty fast and friendly. We did not have to wait to have our orders taken. The food took around 10 minutes - reasonable wait in my opinion. I would come back since the portion is huge to what we have to pay for. Little cons: parking can be a challenging game. There was too much rice in my musubi even though the taste was decent.”

“Saw this place on Google map as I typed in "food near me". It caught my attention. A little difficult to find. Let me tell you, this was the best Chinese food that I have had in years. The food was excellent. The service was excellent. The atmosphere had alot of need. Staff was very very nice and friendly. We had leftovers enough for a large dinner. I will definitely return when I get back in the neighborhood.”

“Had a really nice meal on the patio and enjoyed their happy hour. Jacob was our server and was cracking us up with jokes. The food was amazing and I recommend the Mt tam cheese plate and the pork chop. Not the most affordable but definitely an amazing experience!”

“Killer lunch today. We got there not realizing they were closing soon. We we're gonna leave so we wouldn't hold them up but the waiter insisted we stay. My girlfriend and I had the fried chicken sandwich and wow is an understatement. So good. The elotes dip with fresh made chips was really good. My son loved his salad with grilled chicken. I can't recommend this place enough. Great service and the food was incredibly good. Can't wait to go back.”

Do yourself a favor and visit Firehouse Subs! 🚒🥪 This family-friendly, community-minded establishment has excellent food- sub sandwiches in 4 8 and 12 inch sizes, soups and chili, chips, cookies, juice soda iced tea and other cold drinks. 🥤 🍲 My husband and I recently celebrated our anniversary and spent less than $40 on two big sandwiches, chips, baked potato soup, two big drinks and a brownie. The pickles on the side were fantastic! 🥔🫗🥒 Large, clean restaurant. ♿ ADA accessible, plenty of room to navigate around tables. Friendly service, helpful staff, ample parking. Awesome decor! Kids love the free fireman hats and checking out hooks and axes on the walls, firefighter uniforms and hats, houses and buckets and a cool Sacramento Zoo mural featuring anthropomorphic animal firefighters! 👨🚒🧯🧑🚒🔥😆 Best sandwiches I've had in years. I recommend the Hook and Ladder. 🪝🪜 Husband highly recommends the meatball sub "It's a million times better than Subway." Large orders are a breeze- call in for the firehouse, police station or EMT dinner. Grab a gallon of your favorite drink and try the cherry limeade! 🍒🍋 The coolest thing of all is that Firehouse Subs funds our city's emergency workers with annual donations for life-saving equipment like defibrillators. Not many restaurants can boast that much charity! 🦺🆘🚑🚒 Thanks, Firehouse! You made our celebration a memorable one without attacking our wallets.”
