“Let me start by it was my first time ordering and im very very pregnant. I wanted to try something new since I frequent other places near by for a cheesesteak. I ordered online with Toast I enjoyed the ability to customize my steak hoagie. I was also able to call and add something I forgot. Immediately after I ordered I went up I don’t live far away and we waited they were busy. My Husband went in said it was a clean nice family atmosphere. I watched people going in and out. My hoagie was cold right from the restaurant but I did get a big bag a fresh fries. It was a lot of fries for my little half of hoagie but would be perfect for a family. The food was also affordable. I did order a little before 1 but that’s my honest review maybe I’ll have to eat there.”

“First, let me state that the waitress was phenomenal. She was very receptive to our large party’s request. The atmosphere inside the restaurant has a comfy, home-like Italian feel to it. I agree with another reviewer though, having a sign in your restaurant that says, “Be patient, no one wants to work anymore.” is EXTREMELY tacky. Everyone has the same issues with regards to Post- Covid. Now, as far as the food, appetizers were hit and miss. The zucchini sticks were amazingly long pieces, but underwhelmingly undercooked. There was no crisp to the pieces.The stuffed banana peppers were the highlight of the meal for me! Delicious and had a nice heat to the pepper. Now, unfortunately the peppercorn steak, was almost inedible :/ Partly my fault for reading the menu incorrectly, but a peppercorn crusted steak usually has some peppercorns attached to it. My steak was drowned in the creamy sauce, making the steak soggy, yes soggy. Hopefully they scale back the sauce on the steak. It is a local place, and they have been in business forever, so the regulars are going to be regulars. Just make sure you read over the menu, and if you have requests the friendly wait staff is very accommodating.”

“We recently held a staff meeting here and the food was delicious. This had been my second trip to the restaurant for such a meeting. I was disappointed to no longer find the DELICIOUS Brussel sprouts on the menu anymore that I delighted in last time but still enjoyed a plate of pulled pork nachos and the egg rolls, which I was able to share the generous portion with a coworker. The Waitress never really came back much to ask us for more beverages BUT in her defense we told her we were having a meeting so I think she was just trying to let us carry on. Definitely would recommend this place!”

“We had our wedding (ceremony + reception) at The Foundry, and we would absolutely recommend it for events! We had about 100 people, so we had to split seating between the event room and the bar, which was no problem and actually fun for our vibe - a little less traditional, cozy, and encouraging people to move around and mingle. We also had access to a portion of the patio that led to the river walk, which was perfect to step out for air. It was a beautiful space for a more relaxed fall wedding. The staff was WONDERFUL - everyone was so sweet and was really on top of things! We thought staff would just keep the buffet full and work at the bar, but they also went around checking with everyone for drinks, including guests that went outside to the patio area. We were so impressed! Several guests have said this was the best wedding food they've ever had. Rachel, the venue coordinator, was very easy to work with and flexible with our questions and ideas. Sometimes, it takes her a little bit to respond to emails, but she's very thorough if you're patient. She also made an amazing floor layout. We do recommend having an event/day of coordinator on your end or someone to help with your setup, because you won't have access to the space until a few hours before your event, which was not an issue for us but is something to consider when booking. We were thrilled with everything The Foundry did and have already recommended them to others for their events!”

The dough is delicious to start with- the sauce is seasoned perfectly with generous cheese and toppings! Love being able to walk in for a quick couple of slices with free drink refills. “I am a frequent customer at Hello Bistro. But I won't return to the McCandless location. I was there on 12/22 and ordered around 12:30. I had 47 minutes to assess how inefficient the staff was since that was how long it took to get the salad after I ordered it at the kiosk. There were 3 workers in the salad preparing area. It looked like there were at least two people in the back area. The entire time, the two younger women were staring at the food and the receipts attached to them and hardly moving. Not once during that time did they help prepare a salad. There was only one person making the salads and she looked very frustrated by the other two "workers." The food kept piling up in the back counter and they weren't bringing the food out to the carry-out spot or the dine-in spot. I counted 21 salads and sandwiches on the back counter and said to myself that somebody must have had a big order. But then I noticed that the orders would slowly trickle out to the pick-up area and often nothing was added. It turned out that these orders were a bunch of separate orders. When I did a head count, I counted 31 people in the restaurant and only 3 people had food. The rest were awaiting their food. It was easy to tell that nobody was managing this place on this day. When I noticed this trend of the food just sitting there and noticing that the order wasn't in need of something else being added to it, I finally asked the two slow workers when my food was going to be ready and I had waited 47 minutes. I don't know how long it was sitting there already, but they said it hasn't come out yet. The lady who was doing all of the work heard the tail end of my conversation and turned around and pointed out my order to the slow workers in like 2 seconds. She gave me an apology and said she hates working at this location because the staff doesn't help her. Sounds like this place needs a visit from Undercover Boss to help the ones actually working and fire the others. Just trying to make management aware so that this place can improve.”

“This pains me to write this, but I hope Jo Lynn's sees this for improvement. I ordered food from here for the first time since the fire happened, and sadly it was really poor. I got an order of french fries, and a large white pizza. The french fries were inedible. Totally soggy, bitter, and no salt on them at all. Then the pizza had the worst crust I've ever had from a take out place. It was very dense and bread like. There was almost no color to it, and no crisp whatsoever. The white sauce tasted like something I get in a jar from the grocery store, and the tomatoes were just mush. Jo Lynn's was my favorite pizza place before the fire, me and my family ordered from there on a weekly basis, but now it's horribly disappointing, and I hope they can fix the issues in the future.”

“This was our first visit. When we entered, there was no one to greet or seat us. We were about to seat ourselves, when a gentleman appeared and showed us to a seat in the patio. This was a charming area tucked between two buildings. However, I think it would be difficult to get through there with a wheelchair without disturbing other diners. The metal chairs are very uncomfortable for a short person. I had to sit at the edge of my seat to eat. The server was very professional, but the service was slow. We ordered salmon and lamb chops. The food was very good, but pricey for a quick dinner out. One last thing, a couple of the servers were wearing t shirts with " The hotel" written on the front. On the back, one said something like, " only one drink away from the devil". The other said, " I only talk to God when I need a favor.". Why? We probably won't be back.”
