“Interesting restaurant. Had a girls’ weekday dinner here. Definitely not a typical steakhouse, with a fusion of American and Southern style. The church vibe gave it a unique dining atmosphere, but the open kitchen also reminded you that it is indeed a descent restaurant. Pork Can Can seemed to be a bit over cooked with an overly strong smoky taste. The cherry sauce on the top was delicious - however I believe not everyone could adore its sweet & salty flavor, even with a bit sour. Ambrosia salad was highly recommended - even though it’s more like a dessert vs a side to entree. We got Baked Brie Bites and Croquettes as appetizers which were as expected. Mussels, which was on special menu, was very flavorful. Our server was nice and helpful. Cons: - reservation fee is $3 pp non-refundable. - parking is very limited.”

Great wine list, pricey domestic bottles, old world wines are better bang for the buck. Food portions to price made sense, loved it was a nice portion. “This is a very lovely modern yet comfortable dining room. The menu is excellent, nice variety of wines and we loved the pumpkin crème brûlée for dessert. What really makes the restaurant special is the service. We had a very late dinner and our waiter was thoughtful and made great recommendations. We decided to order a combination of appetizers and entrees for dinner. The pork belly, crab cakes, Brussels sprouts, truffle fries and the scallops were all delicious. The bread is warm, fresh and crusty.”

“We went to this location on a Friday night. It's in a very congested area with lots of options and no parking anywhere. What was a welcomed suprise -- this restaurant has thier own and pleanty of parking avialable. This location is also an eat outside or take out only option -- there are several picknic tables nearby or on the other side of the parking lot. Now for the food. I've tried many cheesesteaks in the area. Nothing is like the realy philly cheesesteaks (like Geno's) around Charlotte. Cheat's was a gerat suprise. These cheesesteaks are seasoned just right and absolutely done right. Thier fries are fresh and seasoning is spot on -- very tasty. While these may be priced more in the "trendy" food pricing, they are worth it. I will definately be back and recommend everyone to try this place out.”

“We have not been to Le Peep since before the pandemic. We are so happy to have returned. We both chose the build your own omelette. I added spinach, tomatoes, mushrooms and green peppers. My husband added the corned beef hash and the cheddar and jack cheese. We both chose the grits. He had the toast and I had the english muffin. We enjoyed everything. The portion sizes were large. This has become one of my go-to breakfast locations.”
