“After attending a wedding across the street at the courthouse, this place was a perfect stop to refuel and recharge. Our server, Michelle, seated us immediately, was super sweet, and extra accommodating. The coffee arrived almost immediately and was greatly appreciated! We tried a couple of their starters. The bread service was great; and their fried tomatoes were crunchy, well seasoned, and one of our favorites. We had several entrees as well. The double fried chicken was fantastic, and the greens that arrived on the side were so well made. Their chicken and french toast was very tasty as well. The short rib was delicious, and the risotto that it came with would be amazing on its own. I would recommend this place to anyone. They have a very easy going atmosphere, the service is amazing, and the food was some of the best I’ve had in Sarasota.”

“I visited on a Monday for lunch and took advantage of a lunch special consisting of a burger and fries for $5.99. As with the other locations I have visited, the food is fresh and tastes great, and the service was fast and friendly. There are a number of TV's in the place so you can keep an eye on multiple sporting events at one time if you visit at times when there are games being played. They also have drink specials to take advantage of as well. I will definitely visit again.”

“The food and service were great. They take time for plating and presentation. The chicken was a little dry, but everything was flavorful. I came on a Saturday night and it wasn’t too busy. People working were mingling with customers, and everyone seemed like they were happy to be there. I let my waitress order for me, and she brought out some huge Bao buns, and a buffalo chicken sandwich.”

“This is a hidden gem! Check it out for sure! Red Grouper is located just off Jacaranda near I-75... very convenient. This restaurant is a simple place with outstanding fresh fish and fast service. I started with excellent lobster bisque that had a ton of lobster meat, including some extra sprinkled on top. I had the shirmp and lobster scampi special. My wife had the grilled salmon with Caribbean rice and fresh veggies. Both were fresh and outstanding with plenty of leftovers. Prices were reasonable for this casual dining establishment. Highly recommended for really nice seafood.”

“I was excited to try this new place out because I had heard good things about it. I'm a big breakfast person and love eating breakfast out and it's located in a great location in Waterside. My mom and I were very disappointed, however. We arrived around 10:45a.m. on a Monday. It wasn't too busy at all. We dined inside. It took an unusually long amount of time for anyone to even greet us and take our order once we were seated. Silverware seemed dirty, and the food wasn't hot at all. Hash browns were undercooked, and the English muffins for my Salmon Benny were cold and chewy. The salmon benedict was tasty, but it would have been much better if it had been served hot! My mom ordered eggs with corned beef and hash browns. It was pretty bland tasting. Nothing exciting. Service was not attentive at all, unfortunately. They do offer a very interesting menu, so I might give it another shot once they've been open for a while and maybe get the kinks worked out.”

“1st timers to Owen’s Lakewood Ranch. (Or any location) Yes, I know, I know, what have we been doing with our lives?! 😂👏🏼 We got 2 spots at the bar super quick and super lucky. So appetizers were fried dill pickles 🤤 and deviled eggs 🥚 That extra mustard seeds on top! 🤌🏼😚 Dinner husband did the naked fish and got snapper 🐠 with the salsa verde he enjoyed it and I got the shrimp 🍤 and grits. Now I’m a big foodie with 🍤/ grits and man it was its own flare. Very savory with the cooked onions and ham. And not spicy as some places are. Just DELICIOUS! Dinner came out piping hot! Dessert 🧁 Good ole key lime pie was just the right tart with the good whip cream! Service was beyond awesome with Brittany and others at the bar. Overall we WILL be back!”
