“I’ve been to Freshies many times over the years. It’s just a little bit further away than other hot brunch spots in town. It is always busy and has never seemed worthwhile to me to wait, but my family loves it here. Known for gigantic cinnamon rolls, green chili grits and killer chai, that’s where the rationalization for the price tag stops. Their ‘healthy alternatives’ are limited & the bowls are really just granola with a sprinkle of other ingredients. Portions are good, but you get up-charged for everything. Breakfast burritos are about $25. A simple turkey sandwich served with chips was $22. Expect to wait 35-45 for food to hit the table and don’t expect a server to stop by for anything besides to take your full order in one go & then drop your bill at the end. Breakfast is served until 11 but they stop whenever they feel like it. You can do a lot better in Steamboat than this.”

“Overall it was an excellent experience! My 40 ounce steak was a bit overdone in some places, but I understand it isn't always way to cook such a thick steak to perfection! Definitely looking forward to going back and trying their Tomahawk steak.”
