“Good! What is there to say? If you are looking for a good place to have dinner in the area, B&G Oysters is the place to be. Open kitchen concept to create a bigger space ambiance with slightly limited indoor seating. Surprisingly there were quite a number of tables with kids too! The calamari — you can nevee go wrong with fried food, their raw oysters are amazing! Island Creek will always be the best tasting for me. The cocktail sauce they make is delicious with the oysters as well. For entree the scallops were perfectly cooked, flavors and texture blended well in the dish. As for dessert, banana pudding is banana pudding— maybe also try the chocolate mousse and let me know! Drinks we had the Bee’s Knees cocktail and 1 glass of 2022 Rose. It went perfectly with the apps. The only thing is that we were always asked if we’re done with our plate. Anyway— Til next time! Maybe brunch!”

“Great happy hour spot. There are two levels with the second accessed by stairs. Most of the tables are high top with high chairs or booths. The staff is patient. There is a decent and reasonable for Cambridge priced cocktail list. The fried calamari and flatbread were very good and easy to share. The beef skewers came with a salad. The menu is available by QR code. It was fairly easy to make a reservation. I would come back here.”

“We really wanted to try this restaurant since we LOVE oysters and the reviews are so good here. We ordered some oysters which were delicious and Salmon crudo, Sautéed clams. 1. I wasn’t big fan of Salmon Crudo. I didn’t taste any of salmon and also the salmon smelled a little. I would rather order a couple more oysters instead. 2. Sautéed clams are fantastic! Everything was perfect! 3. Only thing that made me 4 stars was that server took all of our plates and cleaned even I was still eating. She left the plate I was eating and took everything else. Made me feel that I have to finish quick and also uncomfortable. 4. They charged 20% tip with no explanation. The reason why I knew about this 20% was that the same server as mine explained to the customer next me when they checked out. But she didn’t tell me anything which is not so kind. I probably come again since the Clam thing was SOOOOO good but hopefully it will be more comfortably have meals next time!”

I’m disappointed in the Shrimp Ziti Alfredo I got earlier today. The sauce definitely needs some love, it was lacking in flavor and I had to hit it with a dash of salt. The bread was definitely stale and hard to eat. I got chicken wings and a grilled chicken caesar salad as well but not for myself. People were raving about both. so next time I’ll be sure to go for some chicken and leave an updated review.”

I know that’s boston but we ordered 2 soups, a Caesar salad and two ice teas and it’s somehow $80 after tip. Sheesh! The clam chowder was amazing, service was great, people were nice and pleasant. Very quaint place and feels like a living room. I get that restaurants need to be over priced to survive in boston but my suggestion is upcharge the alcohol and entrees. “This restaurant is perfect. They made me an omelette exactly how I like it. The staff were fantastic and cooked the omelette on site for me. They made me a real nice ice coffe as well. The seating area was quite and relaxing. Everything was clean and a more elegant experience with cloth napkins. Prices were on the high end, but I was told that I would have to travel about a mile to find another decent breakfast joint. The family did not want to leave the hotel room but they had to go items where I brought a muffin, bacon and a breakfast sandwich up to the room. The breakfast sandwich was very delicious, tasty and very filling. The bacon and eggs were plentiful and way better then the local DD. The muffin. Was real tasty but was an average consistency as to what one would expect from a muffin sitting in a case. We were told upon entering the hotel that we had $10 off if we ate here,but upon exiting they said it was only for dinner. Over all we would eat here again as there are plenty of seats, the service was top notch and the eating area is very pleasant.”
