“Stopped at Union restaurant for lunch on a drive to Acadia national park. The restaurant is located in the very hip Press Hotel. My group and I really like the restaurant vibe and food! I had the “jump start” drink which had apple cider, turmeric, ginger and other healthy ingredients…surprisingly refreshing and not bitter! I had the grain bowl for lunch which was a healthy option that was really good! My husband really enjoyed the fish and chips! The col slaw was also very unique and great tasting. My friend really enjoyed the ham & cheese. Lunch scene on a Tuesday was good! Many filled tables. Would recommend it!”

“I've been to CBG four times and now consider it my go to late night spot in Portland. From the moment you enter the door you're greeted with friendly and welcoming staff. They're attentive and spot on with service, even when it's bustling in there. The atmosphere is kitschy in the best way and the food has a sense of elevation and attention to detail that I was pleasantly surprised by. Everything I've had there has been excellent. CBG has a following and although part of me wants to keep it a secret, it deserves a big shout out. I'm so glad they're part of the Portland scene.”

“What a fantastic find! The tables are decorated with cute little tea pot lamps, the food was fantastic. We particularly enjoyed the Maine Root drinks and the server who was so friendly - we'd not made up our mind on what to get so she walked by our table to "show off" certain meals to us. Just bubbly and fun!”

“Went here with my friend for their birthday lunch. Drink and food was delicious, bit expensive but totally worth it! Service was really good, they checked up on us a few times but not to often. Made sure we had plenty of water as well to balance our cocktails. Wouldn't mind coming back, though I don't expect I will do it too often. (Not service or food related, I just don't go this way often)”

“Still a great local drinking hole and eatery! Updated menu , mostly same great staff, some minor staff switchups but the tried and true are all still there. I really enjoy stopping in Gary’s every time I come to Naples not only to see the great mix of local friends I’ve met there and have established friendships with bit to also meet anew! Never a dull moment at Gary’s! Also, did I mention Gary’s steadfastness in honoring those Men & Woman of our Armer Forces that are actively serving, have previously served and those that have been lost along the way POW / MIA!!!! What a great act by Gary, the Owner of this pub and eatery to always have a table set and reserved for the fallen brothers and sisters that have served our country no matter how full or empty this restaurant is!!!!, now that’s solidarity and respect on a whole another level that has been almost forgotten by most these days! Kudos to you Sir Gary! Salute!”

“Jake our server was wonderful! Charming, pleasant, and very tentative. The kitchen messed up a couple of our orders and you could tell he took it personally even though none of it was his fault! And it was a party of 8 so not a big deal. We all love coming here!”

Unfortunately the menu didn’t lend well to my wife’s allergies so she ordered the MAINE SMASHED POTATOES 5/5. I ordered the BROKEN ARROW BURGER 4/5 (the pickles are too thick). Good beer, wine, and craft cocktails.”
