“This was probably my favorite meal of our trip to San Diego. The catch of the day fish sandwich was incredible! I forget what kind of fish it was, but it was a white fish and it was so fresh and juicy. It was lightly grilled for a subtle flavor and topped with fresh produce. The brioche bun was soft and didn't taste like it had been mass produced. My mouth waters as I type this this from our visit weeks ago. The salad was also nicely presented and very fresh. My only complaint is that I wanted to take a look at the dessert menu but the menu never came and we had to get going so never got to experience dessert.”

“Awesome place! Burgers are top notch and cooked to perfection. Burger, fries and beer combo is unbeatable at $10. Would not believe this is possible in La Jolla. Fries are great too - fresh, crispy, well seasoned with minimal oil. Leftover burgers taste as good as fresh ones. Would definitely recommend! 5 bears out of 5 🍺 🍺 🍺 🍺 🍺”

“The food is always great. Love the sauce options. Tried the pizza sticks one time. It was pretty much pizza toppings on breadsticks. Not great, but still good. I normally get it to go around lunch time and it's usually not busy and I'm out quick. One of my favorite places to eat”

“I was pleasantly surprised with my experience at Burger Lounge! Everyone was above and beyond helpful and even came back to ask if we needed anything else. The burgers were great! Fries and onion rings better than most! Tasty toppings too! I had the mushroom aioli and it did not disappoint! I’ve been to other locations but this one is run more efficiently and more friendly!!”

“If you want a nice harbor view dinner in San Diego, this is it. This was a "client" dinner, so yeah, company picked up the tab. I didn't have the Lobster, but those with me did, and they were huge! I had the Alaskan Halibut, made with miso (i guess that's the trend) yum!!! Right next to the USS Midway, so that's cool too. Walking distance to the Gas Lamp district and San Diego Convention center.”

“Our servers Evan and Matt were fantastic. Our bartender Luis hand delivered drinks when he had time, which is unheard of for bartenders. Every item of food we had was fresh and cooked perfectly. I work in the industry, and was very impressed with everything from service, to food, to bathroom cleanliness, to crust on the cheesecake, to shape of the knives. The house bread was like a cloud of beautiful buttery dough that effortlessly separated when even gently pulled. The booze got me feeling like Edgar Allen Poe right now, but I’m being serious. Will definitely be back.”

“Delicious Philly cheese steak sandwich. Best I've ever had. Bun was soft yet toasty. Huge portion with the 12", I could only eat half. Garlic fries were crispy yet fluffy. Definitely would recommend this place. Good atmosphere, rock and roll music with golf on the TV. I'll be back for sure.”

“I went here last week for my birthday dinner and it was amazing. Even better than I could have hoped for. Good food and Our server, Dwayne was so kind and attentive, he is truly what made the experience 5 stars! It was a Wednesday night so it wasn’t busy, we got to just walk in. Very calm, clean environment. The food was delicious, I would have preferred mine more seasoned but it was definitely fresh. You do have to add the corn, potatoes, etc separately for an additional cost. The calamari was perfect with a large portion size. Tried the deep fried Oreo with ice cream and it was sooo good, the perfect ending to the meal!”

“Go for the nostalgia and martinis but not for the steaks. Absolutely too expensive for a steak that I could’ve made better at home. The quality of meat just wasn’t good. The house salad is drab with just lettuce, croutons, and 1 cherry tomato. The salad dressings are good. Live music is good. Such a shame the food is not.”

But let's talk about their cheesecake - it's hands down one of the best I've had in a while, incredibly creamy and indulgent. The salad portion sizes are huge! In fact, I had enough salad for two days from just one serving. They offer fantastic lunch specials with great deals as well. Owner and workers there were so nice to me and still helped me with my order even though they were getting ready to close. They have indoor and outdoor seatings. If you're looking for a spot with fresh juices, amazing cheesecake, and generous portions, this deli is a must-visit in Santee!”

I had ordered the chicken quesadilla and it was delicious with sour cream and fresh salsa on the side. Also, ordered their wings and it was very delicious and highly recommend as they have a plethora of options. Lastly, my friend ordered the steak sandwich with amazing flavor. It was a bit chilly and cold inside so recommend sitting outside in the beautiful San Diego weather.”
