“I went to Maximum Skating for the first time last night and I had the best time! I don’t post Google reviews often but I can’t help myself when I know it’s well deserved. The staff at Maximum Skating were so friendly and accommodating, the place was well maintained and the atmosphere was awesome. It was definitely the music/games that topped it for me though and the fact that I even got to pick up a few new skills from the staff whilst I was there. “If you'd like to put up with refs who have no idea and are biased and welcome players who are abusive, racist, and play downright dirty - then you've come to the right place! I've played here in a Tuesday night soccer competition for about three months now and not once piped up about anything, despite losing most of the games! Goes without saying... because we're all there to have fun! And recently I have had to deal with this ref who had no idea about rules, or bringing order to the game, and being fair for both teams. In fact it was such a double-standard that one of the opposition players was just smirking the whole time, admitting that it was unfair. Number 3 from a team called "All In" (shaved hair) makes racist and abusive remarks every week about players there, especially when he sees a guy with a beard or a dark complexion. (I've been told by numerous players, this). Like, we're in the year 2023 guys, what are we doing here? Seriously? He gets away with it every time while some of us cop calls against us by the refs. Won't be going back, recommending it to any friends, or even spectating there for any reason. Such a shame, but I guess favouritism is too easy for some people to resort to.”
