“I went on a Saturday to visit the cat shelter and bring some things to donate. A volunteer gave me a tour of all the cats hosted, explaining how everything is managed. Each cat is divided by type of "problem" or age into houses with everything needed for litter, scratching posts and food available. All cabins are cooled in summer and heated in winter. The volunteers really do a great job. If you have the opportunity, go and visit them and lend a hand too. They are not subsidized by the municipality/province but live off volunteers and donations.”

“I go to the ENPA Gattile in Via Mangili to donate 3 of my bags of milk which are about to expire, but still good! .... after they had told me half an hour before "a Yes" ... and when I get back to the car (even wasting petrol and polluting for THEM!!!) with my Thermos Bag THEY (lady) ANSWER ME openly that this type of milk IS NOT GOOD! That type of milk is not good if not for cats! On the way back before going down into the courtyard....he was already laughing...but I don't know for Me (if I was funny!???) or for other things other than my Donation!”

“Kind staff, all these animals locked in cages made me feel tender. We wanted one but they don't give one before sterilization surgery. It seems like an absurd law to me considering that I got one in Caserta with a three-month relay. And when the time came I had her spayed. In my opinion the best months are lost.”

“The oasis was closed, but the owner still welcomed us and told us how he manages the oasis. Of the cats present, only 5 greeted us, but they were enough to understand how cuddly they are, but above all how well-liked and well-kept they are. Cleaned, neutered and microchipped. Chapeau ❤️😻”

“Ingratitude towards those who give what they have. I contacted the shelter saying I had 24l in bottles to donate to quench the dogs' thirst in the 40 degree heat. I was contacted almost a week later by a certain Susanna who first made an appointment to collect the donation and then didn't show up, calling me back. I asked her to show up at 10am the next day and she showed up at 9.30am, at my home, ringing the intercom twice! Other people who have nothing to do with it open the gate for her and I find her in the living room, without my authorization, standing irritably and then introducing herself saying she's from the shelter! I, in summer pajamas, an invalid, who wasn't even expecting her, and certainly not in my living room, go to get the cases of water and place them in front of her. She looks at me and with arrogance and arrogance tells me that they accept donations for dogs, such as blankets and I don't know what else. I replied that in the email I had specified that it was water. Can they read? She takes the boxes and ONLY after a few seconds remembers to say thank you. No thank you note, nothing. Just pure rudeness, arrogance and arrogance, moreover towards a person who is disabled and has nothing but still wanted to donate to help dogs dying of heart attacks in the current temperatures. I hope, even if I don't think so at this point, that my crates will be used to quench and refresh dogs with quality water and not tap water and that they won't fall into the wrong hands. As they say, "no good deed goes unpunished." My thoughts are only with the dogs.”
