The location can’t be beat, especially for a first time visit to Milan and proximity to a very connected metro station. We had great sleep and no issues with noise, even with a street facing room. “I would give this place 10 stars if I could! I bike packed here from Venice on a month-long trip and couldn’t have been happier with my stay. Apparently I was the first guest to ever bike there from Venice. :-) Davide and his front desk colleague were amazing and very flexible with my checkout due to rain. The service is impeccable, and the food is outstanding. From breakfast to 4 course dinners each night that would rival Michelin star establishments. Hands down some of the best food I have ever eaten. They had a secure bike storage in their garage equipped with an air compressor and cleaning area. Let’s not forget about the spa area with sauna’s. I will surely return! Ciao!”

“Overall an excellent choice for our 9 day stay. Felt very central and close to everything we wanted to see and do. The complementary breakfast is lovely with a good variety to start your day. They do not offer room service and the mini bar is not restocked daily, so be prepared to grab extra water etc to keep in your room. Housekeeping staff was lovely, front desk staff was fine. Would recommend and stay again.”

“We had an outstanding stay at this wonderful boutique hotel in Florence. Personal service, great location in a beautifully maintained property with all the charm and character of an older Italian building. The room was beautiful and very comfortable, including the beds and linens. The main floor lounge was a lovely option to hang out in. The self-serve coffee and complimentary refreshment area was a welcome delight, including the ability to fill your water bottle with either still or sparkling water. Enjoyed the evening happy hour with the other guests. Nice opportunity to meet others. Lovely breakfast room with a wonderful included breakfast. Highly recommend. This exceeded all of our expectations.”

“first of all, this hapimag has a really unique facility and beautiful nature surrounding it, which is simply stunning - one of the best hapimag resorts for sure and i’ve seen plenty. also, as always staff was welcoming and friendly - huge thank you. nevertheless, there are two major things that are making me slightly mad. 1. the apartements are badly old fashioned (typical hapimag style) and urgently need some renovations - they just don’t fit to the aspirations and overall pricing 2. you must extra pay for everything - towels, fitness room, … that’s nothing a regular decent hotel would ever do i would like to point out further that we did enjoy their pizza a lot - there were some reviews that the pizza is not real italian.. they offer lots of activities for children and there are plenty of animals around, which is both nice. the local little supermarket is surprisingly well stocked and also offers veggies out of their garden. in the end, we loved our stay because of the facility. also, we were allowed to switch apartments because the first one was unpleasant for us due to the location of it. the second one was simply amazing with the most beautiful view. but, we did not know that we had to pay 60€ “cleaning fee” although we basically did not use the first one fully.”

“The Donna Camilla Savelli is a mixed bag. The positives- the building itself - It is simply beautiful. The common areas, hallways and garden are so elegant. The serving staff, cleaners, and Ian the bell boy were also lovely. The negatives- For a four star hotel our “Executive” room was somewhat disappointing. The soundproofing was very poor. We were woken between 5-6am every morning by delivery vehicles, laundry collection, glass collection etc. The bathroom was very outdated, no dressing gowns, no coffee machine, and (strangest of all) two paper cups (a china cup and saucer would have been nice). The buffet breakfast was extensive. A large choice of food. Unfortunately the bacon and sausages were very greasy though, and a $5 extra charge for an omelette rather unnecessary in a 4 star establishment. Also milk had to be requested which was also strange. Finally we found the reception staff to be polite, but a little cold and unwelcoming (sorry not being unkind but that was our impression). Overall we loved the hotel building and garden, but feel that the overall experience could have been better, especially given the premium price charged to stay there.”

“We had a family vacation in this hotel. The location of the hotel is really excellent, very close to the center of Rimini and close to the beach (approx. 3 minutes walk). The Metromare station is also nearby. The hotel itself has been renovated, with a very pleasant terrace and small but clean and cozy rooms. The hotel also provides breakfast at an excellent price, and it is really very rich. The whole stay was very pleasant and not only thanks to the location and the nice rooms. From my point of view, people who care about the comfort of clients are also very important. The hotel staff was very friendly and helpful in any situation. Also thanks to their hospitality, we had 5 star holiday :)”

“We come here every year and enjoy it every time. The past two years they've had some hilarious bi-colored goats that look like they have pants on. But really it's the food we come for. Just delicious, traditional regional fare, nothing special, but always well prepared and good. The chestnuts in honey are always a favorite. I wish the servers still wore trachten, though. It was so charming.”

“Fantastic location with a view to lake garda. The rooms are spacious. The air conditioning in the room keeps going off and is highly inadequate in the summer. We were barely able to sleep. We did raise a service request and apparently there is nothing they can do about it. So would avoid going there in peak summer. They do have a fantastic breakfast”

“We had a week vacation there and the kids did the Little Chef class, Herbal introduction class and riding classes. They all enjoyed those classes and the staff were just perfect! We also did a truffle hunting excursion and it was fun and informative. It was really a great enjoyable vacation. Go there n be surprise by the welcome dinner, pizza buffet and pasta night. We especially love the apple vinegar provided by the restaurant and you can buy various products from this establishment. We also enjoyed the various wine from that region.
