We especially appreciated her assistance in planning our reception as well as timeline of the day. The food was delicious and the presentation was beautiful. “The hotel room and library facility is beautiful and nicely designed, great for instagram photos. Small quirks that my family enjoyed were the teapot set on the bed which highlights the aesthetic appeal of the bedroom, automated curtains, the complimentary drink vouchers, and the king size bed is very comfortable. We love the room with the mountain view hopefully we can request it again for our next visit. Something that we should have contacted the desk about was the flashing light from the fire alarm in our bedroom, not sure if the problem could have been addressed. The room service light by the door is rather bright as well in the pitch black. Another critique is that the hotel does not come with a pool despite a pool picture on the search site. The pool/gym/bar is not located within the hotel itself and located 2min walk to their other hotel chain. The pool picture can be misleading as pool access is $25 per person at the time of writing. As mentioned previously in the comment section, there is no direct lift access from the hotel lobby to the basement carpark. If feasible, it will be great if the hotel comes with EV charging Other than a few drawback, the Little National Hotel is a great weekend stay for our family. The hotel is well suited for couples and business travellers.”

“The Hamilton way surpassed my expectations! The room was lovely and nicely decorated and the beds we're very comfortable. There were plates, cutlery, glasses and cups available, which was surprising for a Motel room, which meant we could eat in. The location of the Hamilton was perfect! Close to Canberra for sightseeing and close to Queanbeyan for everything we needed for our stay. We were warmly welcomed and the staff were lovely! “This review is for the restaurant only. I have visited previously and enjoyed a lovely breakfast on my way through. However, this visit was for dinner and it was not so good an experience. An entree sized main of lamb arrived lukewarm and over done. When the waiter asked if everything was ok I mentioned the lamb was overcooked and even gristly. Nothing transpired as a result. I think $48 is a price that warrants a fine dish, and it just wasn't. The view is spectacular and the space is beautiful but on this occasion the food did not meet the required standard.”

“Absolutely beautiful stay with our two young children. We went to see the koalas every day, and after the tour on the first morning, we were able to spot them well on our own. We loved seeing the birds and dragonflies throughout the park as we went for a walk and waking up to the cacophony of bird song every morning. Less so a snake and lace monitor, but it's all nature. My husband was worried about the noise and smells being so close to the koalas, but we had absolutely no issues. Everything is clean and still feels brand new (opened in 2020). Staff are incredibly attentive throughout, especially Renee and the cleaners. The breakfast hamper was generous (see picture), and we were offered a refill on items halfway through our stay. Such a great place for families, the pool is well shaded, and two new umbrellas were added during our stay. Could do well to add a playground, even a natural one, to complement the surrounds”

They price for a Wedding there is among the cheapest we had found and it was a one stop shop. Ceremony, Reception, Photos and accommodation all on site. We had Nadia as our event coordinator and she was incredible. Gave us ideas we hadn't thought of but also total creative freedom for the space. She even went on the hunt the night before for my favourite wine. She is the perfect coordinator.”
