“We travelled from Toronto, Canada to Romania this past summer. In Sibiu we stayed at Vila Bohemia for 3 nights. The hosts were super nice, welcoming and helpful. We really enjoyed the cleanliness and comfort of air conditioning during the 30 degree weather. Each room was decorated in a different theme and the courtyard felt very quaint. The Villa is conveniently located and walking distance to all the attractions in downtown Sibiu. My family and I would definitely stay here again and recommend Vila Bohemia. The scenery is absolutely amazing, you do need a good car to get up to the place, the road is not asphalt es but it's worth the trip, I do recommend the place if you don't want anything luxurious.”

The bathroom has mold on the ceiling, the pillows are skinny, it's too hot in the rooms and the AC doesn't do much. You can tell that the hotel is old, door hinges have been changed from one side to another and it's visible, cracks and chips in the tiles and sink, the toilet paper is 1 ply and it reminded me of the cheap bad one we used to have in the 80's and 90s'. No facial tissues, not too much space to leave your suitcases, either. But I do see that they are trying, and overall the stay isn't unpleasant, just not 4 stars.”

The receptionist on duty was a lady who probably worked before in a state owned hotel or somewhere where kindness or being polite is considered a bad joke. She answered all my questions with a rude tone, questioning and completing every one of my sentences. -Is possible to have a cup of coffee in the restaurant? -You can have a coffee if this is all you want to drink... After waiting 5 minutes, the restaurant was empty and nobody asked us abour our order, I went out and asked the receptionist about the waiter. - A certain person should come. -Can you call this person and tell her that there are people waiting to be served? -How should I know where this person is ? I sincerely give owner a free advice. Get rid of this receptionist asap.”

“We were a group of 6 adults and 2 children and we opted for this hotel for their spa facilities and it was alright. The waiters at the breakfast and at their restaurant were very nice and polite, but the place was kind of a mixed feeling of fresh moderness and stingy renewal. Some stuff were very modern and minimalist looking while the furniture were outdated and a lot of them had broken sides, that are not really child-safe. Their variety of restaurant is pretty good with reasonable pricing. Cleaniness of the hotel and rooms was good, sadly a few parts need more deep cleaning especially in the bathrooms. You get bathrobes and slippers as usual. You have parking in front of the hotel, but at the daytime it’s quite packed since you can get daypass entrance for the spa without booking a room what is quite nice, you have access to the steam, salt, finnish sauna rooms and gym, swimming pool, jacuzzi and the smaller pool that is children friendly.”
