“We stayed for 7 nights in a sea view club room. The resort is located in a beautifully rural part of the island, it’s secluded and peaceful - here you can truly relax. The beach is beautiful and clean and you enjoy true paradise views across the ocean. However the water is not clear enough for snorkeling and the fish are very scared of people due to spear fishing. The location also means there are no restaurants or shops at an easy distance from the hotel, so we had all our meals at location. The resort grounds are expansive and are set on a cliff side, but golf buggies take where you need to go if you’re not fond of walking up and down the hillside. We really enjoyed the tranquil setting of the resort, however due to the secludedness we were a bit disappointed with the food. We had all our meals onsite and unfortunately none of the food was great. Everything was mediocre or good at best, and quite often under seasoned and/or overcooked. Breakfast was similarly good but nothing to write home about, but I do give them kudos for consistently getting the cooking of the poached eggs right. Highly recommend the Air Bar for cocktails around sunset - the drinks I had there were some of the best I’ve had ever. The resort is well maintained and beautiful. From the room itself you can tell its age, mainly from the fact that the plumbing makes an awful lot of noise when you flush the toilet for a good while after, and the aircon was also very loud even on the lowest setting. Room itself was well appointed and spacious, and we enjoyed the generous balcony overlooking the ocean. Lastly service at the resort is extremely attentive and mostly impeccable - this is really where the hotel shines. We were very well taken care of by all of the staff at every interaction and everyone seemed very genuinely kind and attentive and we were taken well care of when I got sick during our stay. We had some issues at breakfast from time to time (tardiness or getting our order wrong) but nothing that could not be overcome. Overall we very much enjoyed our stay and this is a great hideaway for anyone looking to truly relax and be well taken care of - but personally would expect considerable improvements on the food before considering a return visit.”

“Great place and decent location half way between Bang Tao beach and Boat Avenue. The complementary shuttle service to both areas is AWESOME and is, in our opinion, a must. The road is very busy to walk on with no pavements. Hotel good overall...a few little things probably ensure this is still 4 star than 5 hotel: On arrival we were given only one room key and informed that we will need to pay a penalty if we lost it.... ? Also during check in, having to pay 1000Baht/night security deposit and then having to wait 10 minutes at checkout until housekeeping check the room was not damaged in any way...? All very odd and not very trusting. We are 2 adults + 1 kid what exactly do they think we will do... Housekeeping: only one toilet roll per day (we ran out twice in two days)...shampoo and shower gel not replenished daily or quantity increased to take account of room occupancy. Other than that, daughter loved the pool, we loved the cocktails and the staff really friendly. Food lovely. Onsite restaurant quite expensive ...especially breakfast. Cheaper and better F&B options at the beach or nearby. Would stay again”

“Pros: - Staff. Very helpful at the reception and helped with booking nearby attractions. The room cleaning was very good and the staff helped with moving the heavy suitcases. - Room was very pleasant and include a private balcony with a bathtub, drying rack and beautiful view. Bathroom was very modern and the bed was comfortable. - Amenities were nice including free paddle boarding and kayaking during high-tide. It is nice as the beach is not very busy. - Value. For the price, the resort is amazing. There is also very affordable food at the restaurant adjacent. If you are on a very tight budget you can order food via grab delivery. Cons: - The sink only had one tap with no hot water. This is unpleasant for shaving. - Hand soap has a very very strong banana scent. Perhaps due to the name 'blu monkey' however it was a little unpleasant. - The resort is very far away from everything else of the island. It is far from the airport and other tourist attractions, leading to longer travel times and more expensive transport. We also had difficulty getting transportation to/from the resort as grab, indrive and bolt were unreliable however this may be attributable to the islands taxi-mafia and not the fault of the resort.”

“This is such an amazing place to ignite curiousity and learn about science and astronomy for all ages! The astro park consists of observatory and planetarium, located against the breathtaking mountain range backdrop. We went there for the exhibit and planetarium show at 11am. The exhibit is clearly explained, interactive and has both Thai and English display. The planetarium show was also engaging. We would love to come back for the star watching activity which is open for public every Sat from Nov to May. Overall, this place exceeds our expectations and I would highly recommend it to every family with kids!”

“Amazing experience. Very kind and helpful staff. The restaurant has unbelievably delicious food and the complimentary breakfast in the morning was just as good (tons of yummy options to choose from!). Anyone who has left a bad review clearly is someone who just cannot be pleased because this place is paradise and the staff service was impeccable. There are bugs here in Thailand so one must remember to turn off the outside lights near their bathroom if they do not want to attract them. This is also a property that is located on a hilltop, so there are some stairs, but that makes it that much more charming, whimsical and unique. I read poor reviews where people mentioned these two things but clearly they did not do the research before booking. My partner and I have come to Phuket many times before and this was the best experience by far. Views are spectacular! Best sunsets you will ever see!”

“This is a very nice quite new hotel. Great service, large rooms (although most of them lacking a view), great service and good food. Excellent swimming pool, which doubles as a lap pool. It is located on the East side of the city, so within easy close access to both airports. Also next door to a large intl hospital, where you have access to McDonalds and other “Western” restaurants. The main issue is the location. It seems to be located on a sort of an enclosed area within Bangkok, so it you want to visit the tourist sites, it may take you more than an hour on the road. So you are forced to use the Sky Train, which is a good option, but which does not take you to every relevant place. It is a good location for shopping (and there is red district near by, I have been told)”

“Top candidate for our long stay choice! When we stayed at the other hotel last week, they brought it to our attention that this hotel was renovated and offers very nice long residence so we had to look of course. First thing we noticed were the beautifully finished walls with wood veneer creating the right tranquil and peaceful atmosphere. Rooms were again well equipped (hair dryer, big 2p bath!). Very impressed by the amazing views from pool and the higher level rooms (see also video taken at sunrise from the 31st floor 2 bedroom we looked at). Plenty of parking and the breakfast was great. This is nice for a business, holiday but for sure also for long stay residence as the area it's located in has plenty of entertainment, shops and food choices. 10/10”

“I spent couple of nights in this very noisy hotel with a band just downstairs playing everyday until 11:30pm.... so if we are willing to rest and having a quiet trip avoid this place... food is ok nothing more.... a bit expensive for the quality and quantity... the only positive aspect is the localisation right on beach... staff are not really well trained and speak little English.... almost a problem for 4* hotels.... rooms are large but old despite the beautifull pictures on website... à refresh will be welcome for the price paid. Nice trick for the Web designer. A bit desapointing!!! Wifi coverage is weak and frequently down.”
