“We had a week's stay there over New Year's Eve and we had an amazing time. It's a relatively small hotel and adult only, which was perfect for us. The staff were especially amazing, such a good service ! Special thanks to Nader , a supervisor at the restaurant. Mohamed who was our waiter most days including NYE gala dinner. Emam at reception and Danielle who sorted our room out. We highly recommend this place!”

The staffs in this hotel are all doing actual work 2. Very nice room and views ! Clean and comfortable room 😌 with biggggg round windows with sea view ! 3. Roof top is very chill as well 4. “Very nice village, well maintained pools, slides and gardens. The beach has chqirs and umbrellas in good status. The beach is sandy and the sea is safe to swim in. Only one supermarket is their and one coffee shop, both serve with higher than normal prices. The beach is inaccessivle through the night! Security is very well maintained. You can higher bikes during the evening, but they are in bad condition and really exoensive!”

“I have been traveling to Egypt every year since 2007 and for the past 9 years I have stayed at the Golden Hotel whenever I’m in Cairo. The rooms and bedding are comfortable and spotless. Breakfast includes fresh fruit, an omlette, yogurt and tea or coffee. Best of all, the owner and staff are welcoming and very accommodating. The downtown location can’t be beat making it an easy walk to the Corniche, the Egyptian Museum, the American University in Cairo bookstore, Abdeen Palace and lots of restaurants and shops. A slightly longer walk of 20-30 minutes will get you to the Islamic Art Museum, Bab Zuweila, and the Street of the Tentmakers. It’s only a bit more than a 5 minute walk to the Sadat metro station at Tahrir Square to get you to most other destinations. Modest prices make The Golden Hotel a great value - don’t hesitate to book a room.”

The food at fade is honestly one of the best foods you will get at any hotel in egypt. Kudos their pastry chef specifically. The staff is the most attentive nice staff you will meet who always try to make your stay easier, they actually gave us towels at the checkout day to use till 5 as we wanted to stay longer by the beach.”

“The holtel is very well located in the heart of six of october city. It is close to almost every major attraction in the city. They are about 10 to 20 minutes drive. Almoste everything you need is around the corner. Grocery store, pharmacy, bakery. There are also many restaurants in the area and you have the right to order and have it delicered to the hotel. Rooms were clean with a street view yet remain calm. the only downside from my point of view would be the absence of heaters in the room as it can get cold. The staff will react by giving extra blankets which is not the best solution but remains a solution. Overall experience is very positive beeing my second stay in this hotel.”

“Great hotel as we only stayed for a short amount of time. But the staff were brilliant for lunch and round. The pool area was fantastic this time of year. Only one pool was heated would have been nice if the availability was heated, but there were quite cold. Considering the weather was still nice at 26°. We still swim in the cold pool for a bit. But you can't beat a heated pool. Great pool service like. And polite good experience not too far from the beach. They do a beach caddy, so you can go down to the beach, they drop you off and pick you up really enjoyable little bit of a downside in the area where they have knocked down a hotel in the same area and when you approach the beach. Some bits of fenced stuff. And this hotel has a cable cut and it was not running so that was a bit of a shame considering they show that online.”

Sea water swimming pool was closed. The beach was great and sea was marvelous”

“Reception people were of no help at all ..after a 40 minute wait in a lobby for our room , we carried our own bags to the room and we entered with housekeeping still cleaning . A woman came to the room, asked us to open up our carryon for a security check to make sure we had no weapons ( I'd assume they would want to do that before one checks in and is settling in their room ) There was a nice pile of old dog poop in the hallway just past our room . No amenities at all including water glasses!! The frame of the door was broken and had nails sticking out of it, and the bedding was stained . Breakfast was simply a joke and I'll leave it at that for a review ... but I did enjoy the fact that there were 2 bowls of fruitloop cereal on a counter but there were no bowls, no spoons and no milk 🙈 An absolute disaster and total waste of money . Thank God it was for 1 night only. We have stayed in military run hotels many times in cairo and enjoyed them alot ...this hotel however was nowhere close in any aspect to the ones we previously stayed in . Best advice if you stay in this place ... order the room service for food . Very well priced and very good food .”
