“It’s a bit expensive, but also an amazing hotel that offers everything you could ask for during a stay in Japan. Our stay included the breakfast buffet each morning and 2 meal tickets for dinner. We stayed for 2 nights, then decided to extend for one more after falling in love with the hotel (and Kobe itself). The closet has his/her yakata and haori, so everyone in the hotel walks around in kimono style robes which is a fun experience. The staff was very friendly and patient with me speaking English only. The rooftop onsen (guests only) is best in the morning, when you can watch the boats moving across the harbor. The public onsen has three different “types” of water to soak in. 10/10 would stay again.”

“This is a review for the yugetsusano (Japanese style) portion of the hotel. First time staying in a tatami style room and was pleasantly surprised by the comfort. The hotel also provides you a yukata to walk around in. There are 3 public onsens on site. Maybe it was the time I went, but I had the entire bath to myself. For foreigners, the staff speaks enough English that your stay won’t be unpleasant or uncomfortable. On downside is the hotel does look a bit dated and could use some renovation in the public areas.”

“This was a great hotel in the middle of the main street. It had great heating for winter and a soundproof window. The design was great and user friendly. My brother and I loved it. Amenities for toiletries are mostly self helped. They had pyjamas in the room for you along with towels and soap.”

“What about South Awaji's Anaga? I booked a suite room and a cottage and stayed there while enjoying the northwestern part of Awaji Island with my seniors. Although it has been open for many years, every detail has been well-maintained and we felt comfortable. Our dinner consisted mainly of sukiyaki, and we also had fresh fish. In the morning, we enjoyed a leisurely timed taisty Western breakfast, which was great and didn't wait a too much time to be served.”

“Extremely convenient location as it’s near all the train lines. The room is small but functional with enough space and shelves to put things. I like that the room has huge window that gave us natural sunlight and a great view of Kobe! The room was also very clean and towels were changed daily. We had a very comfortable stay and I’ll choose this hotel again the next time!”

“The hotel is very good and has an Onzen to rest after a walking vacation day. This was my favorite place in the hotel. The rooms have a good space and are comfortable. The restaurant is good, but it is the only one in the region which is actually a little isolated. We had to walk 15 minutes from the hotel to the subway station with luggage, so I recommend arriving by taxi.”

“If you are a Naruto fan and don't mind coughing up a hefty amount for the greatest experience ever... BOOK THIS NOW!!! They also have rooms for non Naruto lovers. 1. Room - do you even call it a room? You get a whole little house called a cocoon. We booked the Naruto cocoon and it was worth every penny! You get a few free souvenirs and the greatest experience in my life. Depending on which package you buy you also get tickets to certain attractions at the theme park. 2. Service - i have never been so catered to in my life. From picking you up at the park when you arrive, greeting you during check in and offering creme brulee and tea, also letting you taste a few of their different whiskeys (it was so strong i thing i grew a mustache), driving you to and from the park and different attractions, to the EXCELLENT dining experience and breakfast. Everyone was super friendly and helpful and they even gave us directions on how to get to our hotel in Kyoto from there at check out. It was a 20/10 experience and I would definitely go again! 3. Location - located on Awaji Island which was difficult to get to from Osaka. We got lost during the multiple different transfers but thas no fault to the hotel. The views once you arrive though, spectacular! It is truly a site to see and luckily we had great weather the time we were there. Not sure if there were convenient stores or anything around as we just went straight to the hotel and left but there is a station/shopping mall that is close.”

“Very conveniently located, a few minutes walk from Arima-Onsen station. Fantastic food served for dinner with breakfast buffet available. Rooms are like business hotel with more space. Onsen (hot springs) is inside and outside with sauna. Great value for money as you have to spend more if you stay in other hotels in the area.”
