I definitely recommend coming here and staying for a few days. The pool was a bit mercy at times, but it had a ramp and was pretty fun to swim in. You can hire bikes, buy souvenirs and much more. I stayed with my family at one of the powered campsites and had a bathroom. I totally would stay here for some time.”

We have always raved about the plantation restaurant however this time we weren’t impressed by the taste of the food especially when it’s not cheap either. The vibe as well just wasn’t the same, not very welcoming. The rooms were also outdated. We had a garden view and it was sad to see the plants very dull and not thriving at all :(( I hope in the future these things can be improved as it’s usually a great spot.”

Yes, the music was loud in our room but again, it was good music so I actually enjoyed it. I wanted to go to sleep before the band finished so I just put in a pair of ear plugs and I was good as gold. They didn't play late in any case.”

“I felt Cedar Lakes deserves a 4 1/2 Stars. It was a fantastic resort for children. The kids could ride their bike around seeing all different types of wildlife, paddling on the kayaks and little boats. The only downfall was we had previously stayed here, and the pool was heated. This is the main reason we choose to come back here as last time we spent hours upon hours with our kids in the pool. The pool was absolutely freezing this time as they turned off the heat in the warmer months. But it was still cold at the end of November. Hardly anyone used the pool other than a few kids. They do have two spas. They have putt putt golf, which was good. An arcade room which the kids used. Over all its is a great country escape.”

The team in the office and very helpful. Access to the beach via a path out the back is awesome and only a 2min walk. Standard of the rooms does vary due to private ownership however are on the later side, pool view balconies, kitchen and washing machine/dryer etc. so great for a family. Would stay again.”
