“My husband and I recently stayed at this hotel during our honeymoon, and we were extremely disappointed and we DO NOT recommend this hotel for anyone. 1. DIRTY ROOMS: The hotel appeared to be outdated and in dire need of renovation (the online pictures were extremely deceiving). The room we were provided was not only unsanitary but also lacked the basic comforts one would expect during such a special occasion. It was disheartening to witness the neglect apparent in the overall condition of the hotel. 3. EXTREMELY LOUD: the incessant noise from the events hosted by the hotel permeated every corner of the premises, making it impossible for us to sleep at night (noise continued until 1-3 AM), In light of these circumstances, we approached the hotel staff, expressing our dissatisfaction and requesting to cut our stay short. Despite our valid concerns, we were met with indifference and unhelpfulness. We asked for a refund for the nights we were leaving early, the staff responded extremely rudely and refused to rectify the situation. . This was one of the worst hotel experiences we have ever encountered, I do not recommend this hotel to anyone.”

Room (first floor with lake-view) was large but bathroom (too) small. Bed was good and comfortable. Small improvement suggestions: support with heavy luggage especially to the first floor (stairs only), provide a detailed printed invoice when checking out (instead of a small summary) and finally, the hot tub / whirlpool on the roof are available for 40 euro's per couple per hour, that price is too high for most people and given the room price could be a bit more customer friendly.”

For a supposed beach resort there is NO complimentary beach access supposedly if you book on a third party website- information which is not on their website or on the booking websites. What is amusing is their website was not working when we tried booking. I would strongly counsel guests to completely avoid this hotel because you don’t know what surprises lie ahead. I strongly recommend you avoid this hotel at all costs!”

“It’s a very nice hotel a little bit outside of the city. We were lucky to have e great receptionist called Martina. She helped us with where to go to the bus stops and how to pay the buses. She gave us very good service and answered every question we needed an answer to. In the end she helped us with transfer from Cagliari. When the transfer was late she called the transfer for us and called me to help - even after we had checked out of the hotel and she was about to leave her shift. Ask for Martina if you’re visiting this hotel!”

“Fantastic hotel with wonderful staff (special mention to the cleaners and breakfast crew). Breakfast is really tasty, fresh and offers a wide range of local products. The rooms are spacious, clean, have a great adjustable AC. The rooms that do not offer direct sea view still offer a great view of the private pool and the mountains (and the sea sometimes too!). The pool is quite big and despite perfectly catching the sun, also has nice shaded spots under the lemon trees and rose bushes. There are plenty of sun chairs and umbrellas. There is also a smaller pool for toddlers or just to sit and read with your legs in the water. The location is wonderful, a minute from the beach but not on the seafront, avoiding loud noises. Only 15 min walk from Mari Posa beach with dreamy sand dunes and pines and 20min walk to Alghero old town. There are countless bars, cafes, restaurants along the sea front and a great cycling lane. The hotel offers a reasonably priced rental of bikes with insurance. Bikes are great quality and are all terrain which is perfect if you plan to explore the many archaeological sites and natural reserves of the area. Finally, the hotel is located near the major public bus routes to go from and to the airport in less than 30min and for less than 2euro. Overall great value and quality, could not recommend more.”

“AVOID! Worst place on Costa Smeralda. I Do not recommend to anyone. The Management, the owner and the staff at the restaurant were impolite and even rude. Our car was damaged (scratched) on the parking lot of the hotel but the hotel management completely did not care about it. It is an old resort which has not been renovated for many years, swimming pool was dirty, food was poor, apartment was small and non functional (very small kitchenette). Avoid staying at this place!”

We enjoyed a lovely breakfast each morning and there was tea and coffee making facilities in our room. The Staff at Hotel Aristeo are outstanding. Each Staff Member we encountered during our stay was friendly and helpful. Knowing we were comfortable and well informed about transport, shopping and eating options etc… was a priority for them. “Seafront hotel, we didn't stay overnight, but we had the continental buffet breakfast at a cost of €12 per person. Excellent and plentiful, sweet and savory, with also seasonal and local fruit. Special requests are charged separately (see dedicated menu). There are outdoor and indoor tables. Excellent and simple management of anticovid measures: disinfectant gel for hands and gloves. The hotel Cala Luna supports the Cala Gonone aquarium, it is also possible to book the aquarium room. We visited also the rooftop sky bar - the real highlight of the hotel - for a couple of drinks: the view is lovely and romantic. You are greeted with a smile and the overall service is great. The cocktail menu is full of proposals, including non-alcoholic ones, a free buffet is included.”
