“Overall this is a nice hotel, but definitely had some issues staying here. It's very dark inside and our car that we paid valet parking for was left outside overnight, which is concerning given theft in the area. The amenities in the room weren't great (including an old TV with movies you have to rent), and the food at the restaurant had few vegetarian options and really no options friendly for pregnant women. The hotel is beautiful and we enjoyed the view, but overall would not stay here again.”

“The most frustrating hotel experience I’ve ever had. Human fluids on the sheets, cobwebs, stained carpet on the hallway outside, and negligent customer service. If this was a 3-star hotel, I wouldn’t mind if they changed the sheets, said I’m sorry, and called it a day. But it’s “5 stars”, right? Changing dirty sheets is the very bare minimum. It should be an obligation, not a favor. But the hassle of it all, having to complain, waste time on this issue. And no, they didn’t go out of their way to provide any kind of comp or amenity whatsoever. If you’ve booked this through a credit card partnership program and expect to get an upgrade, they will always say they don’t have it. The credits cannot be used for the spa or laundry either, you will be better off somewhere else. We won’t be coming back. Edit: The sheets were changed promptly thanks to the person who was there during the late night shift. But the attempts below were only given after I, as a customer, went out of my way and complained 3 times. At that point, I’m sorry, but we are a couple traveling without kids. Having more beds is not useful. Appreciate the effort but did not change my opinion.”

The plug in the sink won't stay down and when you are staying for a week there's no drawers to put your clothes in nor enough hooks in room. However rooms are spacious and have tea and coffee facilities which is great!”

“The hotel is ok.. but the lights / led in the room make me never wanna stay here again. It’s terrible the room lighting. Difficult to control, there’s not a set up for normal light colors.. if you plan on working, run away from this place.. the lights were terrible for me to work. If I was the hotel, I would definitely set up a standard light for guests that also need the normal set of lights, with the normal 2700k color or warm white color. Also another thing is the toilet light, it’s so dim and colorful that it’s very uncomfortable to use the bathroom. Anyway.. I would not come back here.”

“Location is a bit dodgy if I am honest. Walking from the metro to the hotel you pass plenty of hobos and dive bars. Service wise, all the staff were amazing. The room was clean and comfortable, but for some mould stains in the bathroom. Early check-in is not available, to my disappointment, however reception is more than happy to take your bags whilst you burn some hours until check-in.”

Quiet and good beds, breakfast looked good and opens up early morning (around 5am), and staff was ok (polite but not super helpful/happy). “This is NOT a 3 star hotel. More like an average 2 star. Common areas old and tired. Rooms cheaply remodeled and are already tired and in poor repair. Pictures of Headboard peeling, shower head pulling out of wall, and shower door corrosion. All 4 pillows cheap and had gone very lumpy. Bare bones room that is not maintained properly. Common area dated, boring with stains all over carpets. Priced the same as many 4 star hotels in the area. Staff unfriendly and do the bare minimum but not quite to tbe extent I would describe as rude (just indifferent and sour faced). The postive: air conditioner worked well. Nice firm beds. Clean sheets. Lots of hot water. Free self serve cake and coffee station in lobby. Quiet location with store accross the street. About 2 k from historic/tourist area. Some great food close by. Summary: hotel is over rated, in poor condition and poor value We would Not recommend you stay here when so many better value hotels exists in Porto.”

“Beautiful rooms, themed by city and style. A great place for a couple to getaway and relax with one another. There is room service for wine, beer, surprises and food, the rooms are very spacious with a jacuzzi, bath robe and slippers, flat screen tv, built in surround sound music system, a must if you just want to it to be the two of you. It's very discrete and hidden. Close to the airport too so if its your last day in Porto this will leave a last impression alright. Call ahead or check online to see if rooms are available, I think some of the staff speak english.”
