“We had an outstanding stay at this wonderful boutique hotel in Florence. Personal service, great location in a beautifully maintained property with all the charm and character of an older Italian building. The room was beautiful and very comfortable, including the beds and linens. The main floor lounge was a lovely option to hang out in. The self-serve coffee and complimentary refreshment area was a welcome delight, including the ability to fill your water bottle with either still or sparkling water. Enjoyed the evening happy hour with the other guests. Nice opportunity to meet others. Lovely breakfast room with a wonderful included breakfast. Highly recommend. This exceeded all of our expectations.”

“first of all, this hapimag has a really unique facility and beautiful nature surrounding it, which is simply stunning - one of the best hapimag resorts for sure and i’ve seen plenty. also, as always staff was welcoming and friendly - huge thank you. nevertheless, there are two major things that are making me slightly mad. 1. the apartements are badly old fashioned (typical hapimag style) and urgently need some renovations - they just don’t fit to the aspirations and overall pricing 2. you must extra pay for everything - towels, fitness room, … that’s nothing a regular decent hotel would ever do i would like to point out further that we did enjoy their pizza a lot - there were some reviews that the pizza is not real italian.. they offer lots of activities for children and there are plenty of animals around, which is both nice. the local little supermarket is surprisingly well stocked and also offers veggies out of their garden. in the end, we loved our stay because of the facility. also, we were allowed to switch apartments because the first one was unpleasant for us due to the location of it. the second one was simply amazing with the most beautiful view. but, we did not know that we had to pay 60€ “cleaning fee” although we basically did not use the first one fully.”

“We had a week vacation there and the kids did the Little Chef class, Herbal introduction class and riding classes. They all enjoyed those classes and the staff were just perfect! We also did a truffle hunting excursion and it was fun and informative. It was really a great enjoyable vacation. Go there n be surprise by the welcome dinner, pizza buffet and pasta night. We especially love the apple vinegar provided by the restaurant and you can buy various products from this establishment. We also enjoyed the various wine from that region. This place is just amazing.”

“All staff were very helpful and there was always someone around to help. Everyone always had a smile on their face which meant that everyone felt very approachable. Lovely service! The general atmosphere was welcoming and safe. There were activities you could join if you felt like it but were also able to have a quiet night if that was what you wanted. The free pasta for dinner and drink voucher was also very generous and much appreciated. A range of ages were visiting, even some families with kids. This was nice to see a lot of different people enjoying the space. There was also the opportunity to join activities in the night if you wanted to experience a bit more of a party atmosphere. Being right near the tram and very close to the train station made our stay even easier to visit Florence.”

“The wine tour with lunch is a must-do on any trip to Florence/Tuscany. This wine estate is the perfect escape from the crowded streets of Florence and is an easy taxi ride from the city center. The tour was extremely interesting and educational and the entire estate is beautiful. Giovanni, our guide was passionate and knowledgeable. All of the wine was delicious, as were the many courses of the meal and the olive oil. We just wish we had more room in our suitcases to bring home more wine and olive oil.”

“Great place as my husband and I had to switch to this hotel due to a mishap at another hotel. Rooms are clean and location can’t be beat! Staff are a bit unfriendly and when I sent my things for laundry service, one item was not returned. Understanding that mistakes happen, there was no attempt to let Me know of what happened, and even so the person at the front desk did not apologize on their behalf. Instead I was met with attitude. The solution was that they will ship it to me which is fine but I just did not like how this situation was handled at all. This left a very bad taste in my mouth. Otherwise- hotel was good!”

“5 star price in a modest 3star hotel To make it short for those who do not like to read the whole review, the 15m2 hotel room is NOT WORTH THE MONEY. As usual I try to write my reviews based on facts and not emotion driven. In this case I felt trapped by a too high price per night (260€/night for a 15m2 simple guest room) compared to the offered services. I complained immediately to the owner (Elisa). However the behavior of the owner towards her guests was not professional and disrespectful. Elisa does definitely not master customer relationship management at all! For transparency reasons I have announced that I will write a review based on the experience made. The hotel is located near Procchio beach. À public road leads to the beach. The hotel is an old structure, which has been partly renovated. Superior rooms are rooms in which the bathroom received new tiles and probably new equipment. We have had a superior room and I can confirm the new tiles. As for the bathroom's equipment, I have some doubts as the shower switches permanently between hot and cold. The bathroom and especially the shower are that tight and tiny that I almost suffered claustrophobia in the shower (man of 190cm).The room furniture is a cheap functional Ikea style furniture. Matrasses are new and good. The wardrobe has just one door to close. One part is always open. The room was lacking a safe for valuables and a mirror. No coffee or tea making possibility in the room. Cleaning was OK. The breakfast room is inside of the building in a echoing - 1 floor with partial view on the garden. The noise level of the breakfast area is very high and it is chaotic around the tight buffet area. On the buffet you can find a variety of mostly industrially produced cakes. No typical local products. Fruit choice is limited to apple and pears. Some food is only available on the first come first served principle. A regular refill is lacking. The staff is nice and friendly. The swimming pool is small. The reason why I am listing all these different facts is because in my opinion the price of 260€/night is not in line with the poor services which this hotel offers. For the offered services a price of 150-200€/night would be acceptable and I would not complain. As we complained about the price/quality ratio, the owner showed us as "alternative" a lower category room for the same price with a slightly larger but not renovated bathroom. Honestly, we are not complicated people but if someone tries to dupe you, my tolerance limit is exceeded. Under these conditions the alternative was of course inacceptable. The cancelling option for the 6days stay was also not given as the full amount was due. We have been trapped. In order to avoid other guests to fall into the same trap here is my WARNING and CONCLUSION : If you want to spent a 5 star price for a modest hotel, this is your choice. If you are looking for a good relation quality/price, I can definitely NOT RECOMMEND this hotel.”

“The best hostel I have been to so far. Rooms were clean (I stayed in private rooms). The staff were very friendly and helpful. You get a free drink upon check-in. Free coffee, free water, and free snacks sometimes. The hostel has a kitchen to make your own food. They also have free pasta for you to cook. Terrace was nice. The hostel has a bar and they have activities and events for everyone to participate in. Close to all the major attractions, restaurants, and markets. 5 min walk to the train station. Very friendly and social atmosphere. Def coming back if i visit Florence again.”

“This is a nice location. However, the room had a very bad odor. The building is ancient, I get it, but the smell was really musty. We had to keep the windows open to air out the place. The AC had no external circulation and had a line dripping into the bathroom for condensation. However, the hosts were very very friendly and nice! Very secure location as well. I’d give the place 5 stars if it was not for the smell.”

“We booked an ocean view room and we did have a beautiful view across the bay. The staff was welcoming and the room was very clean. There was free parking right behind the hotel which was a big plus as was the included breakfast. As you’ll see in the picture, the main road through town runs in front of the hotel. Thankfully night time traffic was minimal so we did not get a lot of road noise. Walls are a bit thin so we did hear our neighbors, not sure if they were in their room or out on the adjoining balcony but again this did not last long. Beds were very firm which wasn’t to our liking, but may be to others. Food at the restaurant was very good and reasonably priced although many of the items on the lunch menu weren’t available. We did not use the beach, but it seemed to be a big draw for many people.”
