“Had a pleasant stay. A few days prior, they emailed a pre-arrival preferences form (I think this is the first time I got something like that) in which I indicated we were celebrating a special occasion. We found a small, thoughtful gift waiting for us at our room. They also gave us a room with balcony as I requested in the form, but we weren‘t able to go out. The door seemed locked but anyway, there wasn‘t much out there (no seat or table) and we didn‘t try to ask if you could actually go out. Our daughter enjoyed the playroom. She wanted to take a dip in the pool but it was cold and we didn‘t pack a swimsuit.”

“We enjoyed our stay. Good customer services. But I don't know if it's just us but I think the building is swaying. I know new buildings are built to sway with the wind and earthquake but this building's sway is making us dizzy at times. The facilities need updating... stains in the ceiling, walls and kitchen cabinets. Floor tiles are old. May natatanggal na. But the rooms we stayed at (3 bedroom unit) is so spacious and pleasant. Room service and house keeping are very responsive and professional. 1 call and they are already in our door in a minute. Would recommend for affordable but spacious rooms.”

“Basic but Very Comfortable. Located in a central area close to many restaurants and convenience stores. Staff are efficient and friendly. One thing I am impressed with is how spacious Hop Inn is. The lobby was inviting and wide, the room and bathroom space were similar to what I can get at a luxury hotel. Bring your own toiletries as only some form of shampoo / body wash is provided. There are glasses in the room, and water dispensers by the elevator. No electric kettle, but the water dispensers also have hot water. The elevator can also be really slow (two small elevators operating the entire hotel), so make some accommodations for that in your schedule.”

The only thing is the bathtub is really high. And the lobby, floors and elevator isn't air conditioned. There's also no view.”

“So I was very impressed with this hotel. I never expected that the rooms here would be quite sizeable and well-appointed. The room had a washing machine and dryer, a stove, a dishwasher, a microwave, oven toaster, electric kettle, pots and pans, plates and cutlery, ironing board and steam iron, a nice sofa and more. I just felt this room was really complete. Bed was comfortables which made me sleep soundly.”

Respected my need for daytime quiet. Very quiet overall. CONS: Food not very good. Air conditioning drippy. Musty smell. Laundry not offered onsite. No additional amenities. Pillows not comfortable and felt springs in the bed. Overall, I would say this is a good, safe hotel for a short-term stay. Not comfortable for a long-term stay if you enjoy additional amenities. However some items like the wifi and the outlets were really good compared to other nicer hotels.”

“In retrospect, I got to stay here for a week during a series of seminars and conferences. The hall assigned to us was modest, but adequate. However, the WIFI connectivity was unsatisfactory, even in the individual rooms. Unfortunately, the rooms were not quiet either, as conversations from the hallway were easily heard. On a positive note, the restrooms were in good condition. One standout feature was the proximity to a church, which was especially convenient as our event coincided with Ash Wednesday.”

A bit of maintenance might be good (there was a section of my room's AC door that was rusty and badly installed). I do wish they would announce that upon check-in you have to pay a deposit per each day of your stay. But overall is a good option”

“We stayed a night in the Presto Suite here. The staff are very friendly and welcoming immediately helping you with your bags and the reception staff are helpful and clear as well. The suite itself is a very nice and pretty set of rooms with two bathrooms, two bedrooms and the large open plan kitchenette and lounge. The private pool outside is the selling point of the suite and we did use it but in all honesty, this pool needs to be heated to get more enjoyment out of it. The water was freezing no matter what time of day we got in. That made the pool a little disappointing in that sense. Another selling point was the Jacuzzi bath and that was definitely as nice as expected. The only downside with this was the waterfall shower definitely needs a limescale cleanout because water spewed out in all directions rather than being a comforting waterfall shower as described. The room service meals were really tasty but arrived a little colder than we'd have liked to the point that one of the dishes required microwaving (the room has a microwave luckily) and I personally question if the meals prices were worth it for what we got compared to other dishes during my travel in the Philippines but nonetheless they tasted good and the cheesecake desserts were delicious. The steak was a little bit of a let down considering it's price. The buffet breakfast was fairly good. A decent selection of foods but was definitely trying to cater for the western audience.”

“Two times that we stayed here this year! And it was awesome! It’s in the heart of Makati. Close to everything. The building itself is connected to the Century Mall. Pools were great. Gyms were clean and nice. Strict security procedures and house rules which we thought was good, of course for everybody’s safety. And great city-light view if you’re lucky enough to be on the high floors.”
