“My partner and I stayed at this hotel in the first weekend of September 2023. We booked direct through the hotel and took an appartment suite for a week. The hotel is well situated some 300m from the beach and the hotel has deck chairs and windbreakers to use for guests. The hotel was very clean and tidy with the staff being very friendly and helpful. Most of the staff could speak English which was helpful as my Polish is terrible. You wouldnt think there was a pool and spa when viewing the appartments on google street view but they are there! They were also very spacious, clean and the spa treatments were excellent. The kitchen within the appartment was well catered for with plates cutlery and utensils, as well as a dishwasher, washing up liquid and sponges. The prices were extremely reasonable when compared to the UK. We had an extremely enjoyable stay and would highly recommend staying here. Sopot is a 10 minutes walk to the centre and Gdansk is a simple Uber ride away. The most I payed for an uber to Gdansk was 50zloty (about 10gbp) and about 40zloty for the return journey late into the evening. The breakfasts were served between 8am and 11pm so perfect for early starts or after a ly-in. The selection was simple but all were very tasty. We never felt that we needed to skip or eat elsewhere. There were little to no nightime noise which was massive plus and the beds were firm but comfortable. Wifi was available throughout the whole hotel and we never struggled to get a good signal.”

“This is an absolutely fabulous hotel! The staff is super lovely and accommodating. The rooms are clean, massive and very luxurious. Great, comfy beds, the entire place is spotless. There’s a fantastic restaurant on the hotel grounds, called Zacisze. Breakfasts are top notch. The hotel is just a quick taxi/Uber/Bolt drive from the heart of the city. There’s a bunch of convenience shops around too. I really can’t recommend this place enough. I visit Gdansk at least once a year, and this will be my regular place to stay from now on. Top marks! “At first impression everything looked fine. Our 4th hotel was in Gydnia. We have reserved a parking before so we went direct to the parking of theirs Which they have it in the back of the hotel. The staff was extra nice and the small reception was very nicely decorated. The place was really welcoming. But it was the other story when we came to the room. The floor was really dirty, on the side of the bed there were big stains where the head is when you lay down. On the table and night table there were stains from drinks. I just didnt want to think about it a lot and also we forgot floops so it was challenging to walk. I knew that they have no other room free, as they wrote me in the messages. So that was really disappointing. And also there is no good isolation, so you can hear everything through the door or walls. So parking good, location good, staff nice, But cleanliness, unfortunately, not at all.”

“I had an interesting experience at Jelen Resort & Spa. I stayed for 2 nights from Monday to Wednesday. I was travelling with my sister and we had seperate rooms. We arrived at 2PM. There were quite a few problems during my stay. The balconies are very open there is no privacy at all! We were hungry but found out the resturant is closed on Mondays so we went to eat elsewhere. We came back and felt like going bowling or having a drink but that was also closed. It was raining outside so really there was nothing to do except to sit in our rooms. We then found out the Wifi wasnt working. We told the receptionist she was extremely rude. She said they would look into it. We also nicely suggested that the hotel should let guests know that everything is closed on Mondays and that we would have chosen a different day to stay. She was rude and said we should have checked their website. We asked to speak to the manager who also wasnt that friendly and said its not their responsibility but at least she said we could have a drink at the bar which was apparently closed but they let us have a drink as they were teaching their staff to make drinks. After we went to our rooms and still no Wifi. There were about 10 mosquitos in my room and like 5 spiders i know they can't control the mosquitos but they could at least get rid of the spiders as it looked like they had been there for a few days as there was quite a lot of cobwebs. They next day we spent the whole day there on the lake it was nice. We had dinner at the resturant the food was good. Everything was great on Tuesday. But then in the afternoon the Wifi was still not working so we complained again but again the receptionist was extremely rude and just didnt care! When we were checking out on Wednesday we mentioned the Wifi problem again. The manager left a voucher of very little value and only gave us one. I mentioned that we were in two seperate rooms so really we should receive 2 vouchers and that it didnt matter that it was my sister in the other room. The receptionist showed no emotion and was just super rude Ive never ever been talked to in the way that she talked to me. Horrible customer service. Seriously they should really train their receptionist staff. The staff are all super young probably their first job after finsihing school. Its not hard to be nice and show respect to your guests. I was very nice when expressing my concerns. It wasnt like i was complaining for no reason. If my reservation said there will be Wifi then Wifi should be provided. I will probably never come back to this hotel. I know its new but they really should value their guests especially when they have just opened. Overall the place is nice to relax but the people are just horrible especially the one girl at reception.”

Very close to the beach, which was clean and not crowdy. Food very good, nothing to complain about, good choice and tasty. Peaceful area surrounded by pine trees. Not far from the city centre though.
