“The rooms and hotel are very classy, I loved my old styled room. It did have a television and some other modern equipment. The service was top notch and the staf are very friendly and internationally minded. The location is good, the only thing that I disliked was the lack of parking. There are only a few free parking spots outside the hotel. Food was what you would expect from a bar, just fine. The crowning jewel of the location is the whisky bar! That in itself is worth the visit. There are a lot of whiskys to choose from and the staf have the roght amount of knowledge.”

“Beautiful place!! We enjoyed it so much , we had the chance to walk through the woods and explore the surrounding area 👌🏼 it was amazing! Also we used the pool and maybe would be great to regulate the temperature a little bit warmer for the winter so you get the chance to enjoy it for longer times. The chocolate that sometimes they give you at the room is sooo good! (Wish they gave you more 😅) I’m not sure (probably because it’s not a really touristic area) but there’s no English or other languages menu but would be great if they had at least the dinner menu in a digital form in another language , I know it’s hard and it changes every time but at least if you know you have foreigners as guests you can get it for that days and that would help a lot for the guest and for the waiter too because sometimes we all had a hard time trying to translate excotic ingredients ☺️ Hope to get back soon!! ☺️”

“This hotel is just a gem. It is a beautiful old building in the middle of nature. All rooms have different themes. I love the colourful interior design. The staff was very friendly, food was yummy and a lot. Rooms were clean and we even had a bath. You can take beautiful nature walks in the surrounding area. I'd recommend”

“We stayed in one of the cottages for a long weekend. Houses look great, beds feel like a hammock and should be replaced. During Covid-19 lockdown you can get coffee and other drinks "to go" at the restaurant. Kitchen was closed most of the time”

“Lovely hotel right on river with scenic views. It was a pleasant stay and quiet for the two nights we were there. Great location to explore Ommen as well. Although an older property, much work is being done on it, and our room was clean, bed was very comfortable, and the service we experienced was fantastic. We only had one meal and some drinks in the restaurant and bar, but enjoyed all thoroughly.”

“A beautiful converted farm. Which you can visit either with carvan/ camper or rent a room in the converted barn. Beautiful views. Many walk routes through the local forest. Village is about 10 min drive which has every convient store you will need. 20 min from city Enschede for more shopping needs. This farm is child friendly, has a lot of space to run around, and a playground with swings and trampoline. My kids loved it. They have their farm dog named Joep, who waited nearly every morning for us to get up and play with him. There is a possibility to have breakfast in the communal area, which is cosy and welcoming. There is a Dutch word for it : gezellig. We loved our time here and it is highly recommended for a family or people who love the outdoors.”
