“Highly recommended! Excellent position on the cliff top. A spacious bedroom which had a balcony overlooking the bay, large bathroom with a spacious walk-in shower. The hotel did not serve an evening meal although there are plenty within a 10/15min walk, however an excellent breakfast was served either in your room or in a small restaurant. The staff were very helpful particularly in the breakfast restaurant. An outdoor swimming pool was available although due to maintenance work was closed during our visit as was the staircase to the private beach, maybe we could have been informed of this on the web site as they are both strong selling points of the hotel. Well worth a visit as was St Quay itself!”

Apart, of course, from the reception which was kept spotless. The corridors and the smell of old moldy furniture gave it away even before I got to the room. The room had over-worn carpets and the shower box had mold all over it. Nothing that a good dose of bleach could not solve, in my opinion, although some of the stains in the shower floor had a much stronger stain. Didn't feel clean at all. From the price + value perspective, it performed poorly even though I found the breakfast to be reasonable. Disappointed.”
