“My husband and I stayed 5 days at this wonderful hotel. It’s a bit of a journey to get there from Rio but definitely worth it. We dove 4 days with the dive center Jamanta. We had a great time. We loved the dive masters. Maria, Bruno and Leandro were always very friendly, patient and made every dive special. We were particularly impressed how well everything was organized. Even the storage room was tidy and very well organized. We ate every night at the hotel’s restaurant. The Caipis were great and the food was delicious too. Most nights we had rice, small salad, beans and chicken. Everything is so well put together. The landscaping is gorgeous and every morning everything was cleaned. The room was really modern. The bed super comfortable and the windows reduced the noise from outside. The reception team was super friendly and helped us settle in by giving us a tour around the property. Breakfast was delicious and had a variety of options. We can recommend this place if you’re looking for great diving and a place off the beaten track. The only downside is that we would have loved to stay longer.”

The proximity to the beautiful Brazilian beaches was a highlight, offering an incredible coastal experience. Le Relais de Marambaia may not be brand new, but its rustic charm and breathtaking location make it a hidden gem. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone seeking a memorable beachside retreat.”

“This hotel is in a fantastic location for anyone seeking to be around Leblon. The staff are attentive - from the front-desk to the pool & facilities teams. The breakfast is good, and the afternoon tea was an added bonus we did not expect but would recommend! The pool was a little old, and only received limited sun (around midday). It also closed during lunch and after 5pm, which was unusual compared to other similar hotels. Would highly recommend this hotel if you're staying in Leblon.”

“In my opinion the best hotel for the price, location, and service! The staff spoke English and was helpful in making reservations and finding tours. The room was small (average city size room coming from SF/NYC) but clean and very comfortable bed! The location was perfect. It was not in touristy copacabana. Great quick walk to some great shopping and restaurants in Ipanema! My favorite was the restaurant! Best location and food! Great breakfast watching the surfers and even had dinner one night which was delicious and a beach front meal! I highly recommend this hotel and the staff! Thank you for helping make our stay so wonderful!”

“The rooms are good with kitchen, but the kitchen too small with no chimney. Also the required utensils are not available so you have to buy your own which is a sheer wastage because you won't need them later. The rooms are not properly maintained, the chairs are broken. The AC has water leak sometime. So choose carefully!”

“I don't think there is a better location in all of Buzios to stay. You are within very easy walking distance to 2 great beaches and the beginning of the "Street Of Stones". Very safe, clean and quiet, with an excellent breakfast and drinks, a beautiful pool, and amazing views. The (mostly) English speaking reception is extremely helpful and friendly. When I return to Buzios, I will be very disappointed if I am unable to stay here again.”

“Great experience in the hostel. We stayed in a private room with air conditioning with helped a lot to survive the Rio heat. The staff is very helpful and friendly. The bar is nice and they have different activities everyday. The caipigabriela is a must. The only downside is the area. You may feel unsafe at night but as long as you keep your eyes open and avoid walking very late at night you won't have any issues. There are lots of shops and supermarkets and Copacabana Beach is two blocks away.”
