“My partner and I had a wonderful time staying at the Hotel Wood. The staff was always very nice. The facilities have been designed thoughtfully, and with the environment in mind. We were welcomed with a jar of freshly grinded coffee to use in our room, as well as fresh tea bags. The breakfast buffet had a lot of different choices, the bread was excellent, the juices super fresh, the eggs fluffy and the hot drinks delicious. We strongly recommend the Hotel Restaurant "The Green Room", as the food was very good and refined for a good price compared to some other restaurants in town (if it still on the menue, the pumpkin raviolis with the "airy sauce of foamed cheese" were to die for). Many thanks to the hotel for this amazing and relaxing stay!”

“This hotel is super cool from the outside; the concrete work in combination with the “landscape” is very cool. When I visited Zoutelande in 2022, I thought “I’d like to experience this hotel!”. Well, I have been disappointed, the interior is not in line with the exteriors, the room was everything I didn’t expect - functional, but did not match up the designed exterior. For some reason I also expected it to be a ‘pampering’ experience; well, it’s not. Very sober “Zeeland” functionality… I will not be coming back to stay here.”

“Pretty nice place. Very clean, lovely area. The shops nearby are pretty decent and the bar pool area is very chilled out (but weirdly only open Thursday to Sunday when we were here in September). Only issue was that the neighbours complained when my brother and I were tossing a ball about outside in the afternoon because we were "making too much noise"... kinda odd.”

“It's an absolutely magical place. If you think about booking a beach house in Vlissingen, do not think twice - book it. You will NOT regret it. We spend 4 days in this paradise and would go back in a heartbeat. The houses are equipped with everything you might need, the beds are comfortable, and it's clean - plus you wake up directly at the beach. We had a hard time finding the front desk, as it is tucked away as part of a camping spot. They have exact check in times lots but the check in process is super easy and hassle free. They even drop off your luggage and belongings directly in front of your house. There are a total of 32 beach houses at the Nollestrand. I would recommend to stay at the ones closer to the end, if you like a little more silence and privacy. The other ones are closer to the part of the beach that is frequented by tourists. There are grocery stores in walking distance (20 minutes), and you can pre-order your bread rolls at the front desk the day prior. The only thing that would make this even better is room service and room cleaning 🤣 Highly recommend!”

“Great quit place to be. Kids loved the big outdoor pool and playgarden. Also the fishing pond is a nice peacefull place to sit. You can buy a day-ticket at the restaurant for a small price. The chalet was simple but neat and tidy. Beaches, shops and restaurants are within 5 - 25 min. drive.”

“We stayed one night in Hotel Wilhelmina as we toured Holland. Steps from the beach with limited and very tight parking accommodations. Check in was at the next door Hotel (walk up towards the beach) and front desk staff was very nice. Room was big for family of 4 or 5 as beds are large. One air conditioning unit for the entire place. Just a min or two walk from the beach. Would stay again!”
