“Fabulous hotel. Not far from the city centre but not walkable. Stylish rooms and had everything you could need for comfort. Bonus laundry in our one bedroom apartment, separate bedroom and living area, and a balcony. We had a great sleep, fantastic blackout curtains, and a super comfy bed. We actually slept in! The bed was so comfortable we've actually ordered the same mattress. Definitely recommend staying here.”

“The hotel room and library facility is beautiful and nicely designed, great for instagram photos. Small quirks that my family enjoyed were the teapot set on the bed which highlights the aesthetic appeal of the bedroom, automated curtains, the complimentary drink vouchers, and the king size bed is very comfortable. We love the room with the mountain view hopefully we can request it again for our next visit. Something that we should have contacted the desk about was the flashing light from the fire alarm in our bedroom, not sure if the problem could have been addressed. The room service light by the door is rather bright as well in the pitch black. Another critique is that the hotel does not come with a pool despite a pool picture on the search site. The pool/gym/bar is not located within the hotel itself and located 2min walk to their other hotel chain. The pool picture can be misleading as pool access is $25 per person at the time of writing. As mentioned previously in the comment section, there is no direct lift access from the hotel lobby to the basement carpark. If feasible, it will be great if the hotel comes with EV charging Other than a few drawback, the Little National Hotel is a great weekend stay for our family. The hotel is well suited for couples and business travellers.”

“This iconic heritage hotel employs friendly, helpful and professional staff who made us feel welcome and comfortable right away. The location is wonderfully quiet outside of business hours and Parliamentary sitting days. Parking our car on site was easy. The room was small but completely adequate with some heritage features, nice, very clean with new furnishings, quality linen and modern bathroom. The best features of this beautiful old hotel are the heritage features that give this building so much character, the lounge, courtyard gardens, and restaurant/bar area with many different seating areas. I liked the glass enclosed veranda for having our breakfast as it had a view of the beautiful gardens. This hotel has excellent menu options. All our meals were well presented and prepared. A perfect place for a rest and as a base to see the best Canberra has to offer.”

“Stayed at A by Adina for 1 night; greatest hotel room I've ever been in. Staff were very friendly and always ready to help, and also gifted a complimentary teddy bear upon checkout. Great location to the city centre, Canberra Centre Shopping, and many food options. The room was exceptionally clean and tidy, with many amenities, and pillow options. Amazing view looking out towards the city, with a nice study area, TV with a wide variety of movies, floor- to-ceiling windows, and expansive wardrobe space. In addition, luxury finishes were applied throughout the room, especially in the bathroom with marble and gold. Also a connecting Cafe and Steakhouse, with a major bus interchange to major attractions within walking distance! Would definitely come here again!”

“Third stay at the Brassey hotel. They certainly fixed the problems we had on a previous stay. Clean rooms, very comfortable beds, lovely staff and a nice big room. It's always so nice and quiet here yet cafes, restaurants and the foreshore are in walking distance. We hired bikes for a day which were, surprisingly, in perfect repair. We stayed 4 nights and the only thing we missed was some plates and cutlery which we ended up buying at an op shop, we didn't want to go out for dinner and breakfast every day. We will definitely be back again!”

“The room was tastefully decorated, clean and comfortable with all amenities required. Nice touches include a hairdryer and ironing board and good quality electrical appliances. Location is great, walk to Manuka for a great selection of eating places. Quiet and peaceful with on site parking right outside your door. Good service. Good quality takeaway meals are available if you too tired to venture out. Loads of info on Canberra and what's on. Very pleasant stay and I will be coming back.”

“When we visited the pool was not functional - it was a construction site. The rooms are very generous in proportion and had everything you need. The room we stayed in had a laundry with sliding doors which instructed access to washing machine and dryer. It was impossible to fully open the washing machine lid and the same was true for the dryer. The daily services included changing towels, but vacuuming didn't appear to be on the list. There were no vacuums available in the apartment for use. Overall, it's great value for groups of people and there's enough air-conditioning and facilities to make your stay reasonably comfortable. The location is walkable to all the shops, park and public transport.”

However, the lack of parking spaces posed a bit of an inconvenience for us, especially with children and a dog in tow. Having to park far away made the journey quite a bit longer. Despite this, the overall experience was positive, thanks to the welcoming and accommodating staff.”

“The room was absolutely tiny, no room to move in it. The balcony was just as tiny and really dirty with stains everywhere. Dirty, dusty, uncleaned. The bed was on the window, that's how small the room is. A lot of noise from people walking past as the street is right next to your room. Definitely not worth the money they charge for their rooms. We even had a power outage and they don't have generators. No cafe or restaurant, no gym or pool. Not a great place to stay.”

Would have given 5 stars but unfortunately one of the showers in our 2 bedroom place was broken, and air conditioning (heating) also didn't work (as it was winter it was pretty freezing). The 2 bedroom place was perfect for us with 2 young kids, and shopping centre and restaurants just across the street was super handy.”
