“It was an older hotel, so room was smaller than newer ones. However, the experience overall was a 5 based on the cleanliness and the very helpful and friendly staff. Note: the breakfast is NOT included in the room cost and is pricey but really delicious. I would definately stay here again. Thank you to all who worked there on Valentine's Day and that following morning. You made my heart happy ❣”

“We traveled with 1 kitten at an additional cost which we where aware of at reservation time. What we were not aware of was the Billing. They charged our card two rates, the room and pet rates seperatly. Then I noticed an additional charge which was a combined charge of both stated above. Altogether three separate charges! Called Hotel, manager said the individual charge for room and pet will " drop off" in a few days. They should notify you of this at check out. It would allivate additional calls and not to mention stress. Good ending charges did " drop off" 😊”

“The staff is very friendly and very welcoming. Our family comes here year after year and recommended we join them. Glad we did. The rooms are nice and the kitchen has everything you need at a beach place. The pool and lazy river are great when you need/want a break from the beach. Wednesday is there pool party with an awesome DJ that had the whole pool engaged, and having a blast. Norns, which is right off the pool and lobby, is a great place for drinks, food, and a great staff. We have gotten food and drinks multiple times throughout our stay. Overall, a great place to stay in N. Myrtle!!”

“Out of all of the places I've travelled to, the experience of the stay at the Spectator tops all other hotels! We came here for a "babymoon" and they went above and beyond with a special experience for us as parents to be. The beds were comfortable, large rooms with comfortable bathrooms, the butler service was incredible, there's a quaint bar downstairs, great breakfast included every morning. The location was excellent. One thing that surprised me was that there was not a pool, but honestly it didn't matter to us because there was so much else to do.”

“I’ve been staying at a Home 2 all week and this was the best night sleep I’ve had all week! Comfy big bed. Clean room. Many pillows to choose from. Nice breakfast. Not hot but at least they provide a microwave. The only issues I had are this: the lighting is odd. Half the room is dark with no lights. Secondly, the shower is a mess. The reason this doesn’t get 5 stars is the shower is a joke. The knob is broken so it plays like a timer. You gotta be fast or you get scalded and frozen bc the knob/handle doesn’t stay in place. Also, there is a shower bar in this tiny stall right under the water stream. So you’re touching metal on one arm and the glass door on the other and that’s just not right. I’d stay here again, but I wouldn’t want room 310. I use the noise machine on my iPhone but something made me shut it off at 0600 this morning. About 1 min later I turned it back on bc the noise in the hallway was so loud in my room it actually echoed. Guess they are making these hotels cheaper and cheaper.”

“Came here for a quick little Charleston vacay after the New Year. Despite previous reviews, our check-in and front desk experience was exceptional. Clean quiet rooms. Lovely lobby area. About a mile from the Ravenel Bridge. Close to grocery store and plenty of places to eat. Front desk ladies recommended Page’s Okra Grill and it was some of the best food I’ve eaten in a long time. This hotel definitely lives up to the Hilton reputation.”

“We stayed at the Trundle one evening, based on the large number of 5-star reviews. I have chosen to give it three stars because of the premium cost. First, the room thermostat was not working properly. We were offered another room but that was not a convenient option. Second, apparently the hotel uses digital antennae to provide TV service instead of cable tv. Several channels, including two local channels, were not functioning. Upon inquiring, I was told they were "having a problem with a few channels." Having said this, the room was nice, and, even though a half block from a hospital ambulance entrance, very quiet. The criticisms are based on the premium cost of the room. For what I paid, I expected better.”

“Everything I heard proved to be so. Certainly worth the stay if you have a chance. Stayed in a beautiful one bedroom that was spacious and well appointed during the holiday season. It was quiet and peaceful just as I needed to get work done. Things that stood out - two great TVs, warm water always without the waste of running it, comfortable bed, great shower, and terrific water closet with bidet. The staff was attentive and helpful from the valet to front desk. Didn't talk with housekeeping but obviously had done a great job before my arrival. I will definitely be back. “Not only is the Restoration Hotel such a beautiful hotel in downtown Charleston but what made this place super special was the amazing service and kindness of the entire staff. They offer free Charcuterie and wine for happy hour, free room snacks (a decadent selection) and a refrigerator stocked with cold drinks. Every morning they leave an adorable basket with a lovely breakfast at your door. The rooms are huge and ours had a kitchen in it. The bathroom was modern and spacious with a large rain shower. We were driven and picked up on request in the Restoration jeep complimentary. There is a beautiful roof top restaurant that is such a cool vibe with great views of downtown. Every part of the space is lovely, cozy and just makes you feel the Charleston southern hospitality. We can’t wait to come back. Thank you, Trip and Josh for your extraordinary service! You make it hard to go back to the real world where kind and thoughtful service seems to be a thing of the past. Thank you to all the staff for an amazing weekend in Charleston!”

“We were told the unit had recently been renovated with 1 king and 2 queen beds. It actually had 1 king and 2 full. Floors were very nasty. We had to purchase our own mop, mop bucket, cleaner, trash bags, toilet paper, hand soap and paper towels. We were not told at time of booking these items would not be provided. Trash bags...toilet paper..REALLY. Wall paper peeling, we had to tighten entry door knob and shower faucet had been caulked instead of replaced. Just overall disappointed with unit maintenance, cleanliness and supplies”

“We stayed there for one night several weeks ago, and it was the worst Hilton property in our many years of travel. The hotel front desk guy was so busy chatting with one of his friends that he barely spoke to us. We as ked a question about why the digital key wasn't working, and he blew us off. Our room looked like there had been a fight or a really big dog that damaged the wood around the bathroom door, and the window shade was all wrinkly and out if the track. We tried to fix it, so we could have privacy. The mattress was sunken down in each side (we are small people), so it was a real disappointment after traveling all day. We went back to the front desk after dinner to inquire about the digital key. This time a young lady was there and all but told us we were technically challenged! We have traveled for years using digital keys, so it was the last straw for me. The front desk staff was unwelcoming and basically unwilling to be of service. Too bad...the property is in a great location but certainly not up to Hilton standards. We stayed last week at a Marriott property in Cape Canaveral, FL. What am amazing stay! Guess we will go back to being Marriott's guests.”

“Our toilet had an issue at 2am on Friday morning. Housekeeping would not fix it. Three grown woman had to use the shower as toilet. Went and spoke in the morning about having it fixed and housekeeping while out for the day. Came back around 3pm, toilet was fixed but not housekeeping. Went to front desk again addressed it. They promised it would be fixed. Came back 7 hours later after eating dinner and exploring room still was not cleaned. Front desk attendant had to clean it at 10:30pm only To find 2 screws in the one bed after sheets came off. Hotel was dirty. Floors looked like they haven’t been cleaned in days. Elevator was not in good condition.”

“I stayed at this location two times recently. The first room was a two double bed room it was much nicer than the second trip. The second trip was a King room and the bathroom was very outdated. There was a tiny stand alone sink with no vanity to put your items. The double bed room had a nice vanity area outside the bathroom. The bathroom was just the toilet and shower. It was more convenient this way. The hotel is very close to Broadway at the Beach and also well priced.”
