I had booked a city view room and was pleasantly surprised to have a fantastic view of the Harbour Bridge. It made the stay with my friends even more enjoyable. The hotel's location is excellent, with many great restaurants within a 5 to 7-minute walk. Additionally, it's conveniently close to Circular Quay and the Opera House. “Great room, friendly staff, great location, great amenities! Very clean too. Gym was fantastic for a hotel gym too. Definitely recommend Fraser Suites if staying in Sydney. Only thing I would adjust is the lighting in our room 2707. It needed a few more lights in the main area between the bed and the TV as it was a patch of darkness there. Apart from that was a great stay here!”

“We recently hosted a celebratory lunch at the Apartment, Hotel Centennial. It is an absolutely stunning event space, filled with so much natural light from the beautiful arch windows that overlook Centennial Park. While it is a perfect space for medium-large group get-togethers, the large hallway has an intimate feeling, like you're being entertained in someone's private home. Our event staff were absolutely phenomenal. They were quick to reply to our questions and were dedicated to creating a magical event for us. The food on the day was exceptional. The highlight for me was definitely the duck, but the perfectly crafted menu by the kitchen team was absolutely exquisite. I highly recommend this hidden gem of a venue for any events or lunches as you will truly have an unforgettable experience.”

Room has a kitchenette, washer and dryer as extra convenience. Roof top swimming pool. Great staff and hospitality! Felt welcomed from the very beginning. Good restaurant on premises offering breakfast and dinner. A good meal for a fair value but many near by eating options. We would definitely stay here again.”

“I had a great stay at the Metro Aspire in Sydney! The rooms are reasonably well priced especially if booked through the website. The location is absolutely perfect! It was great that we were able to just park the car at the hotel and walk or take public transport everywhere. The hotel is a short walk from Darling Harbour and heaps of restaurants and we even walked into the heart of the city. Its also close to a light rail that we took to Circular Quay. The staff at the hotel were very accommodating and kind. The only downside to the hotel was that the rooms need soundproofing, you can often hear your neighbours or people in the hallway when in your rooms. And the bathroom was a bit weird as it didn't have a fan and would make everything inside moist. But besides that the room was great, clean and the beds super comfy. I would definitely stay here again I'm back in Sydney!”

“I loved staying at Club Wyndham Sydney which it’s closer to every facility like Restaurants, shops, museums, underwater world and waterfront Restaurants. It’s in the middle of the CBD. I am a member of Club Wyndham. I loved how spacious the double rooms are, it’s great for families of 4-6 people it had 2 showers, with a spa tub, Kitchenette. In our past staying we had a washing machine and a dryer. But Not all rooms we stayed at, has this facility. But they have a laundry room in the building. We’re looking forward to our 1wk staying here again this year with my family to watch the vivid lights for the first time 😊. I highly recommended this place for staying in the city, closer for every family activities.”

“The worst experience we had ever staying at a hotel apartment. Me, my wife and son came to Sydney for the 1st time and unfortunately we booked at Rydges darling square. The Ac there was not working properly and they couldn’t give us another room instead they offered a smaller room at different hotel (within the same group which was only 3star). The room was very small. But considering it was hot weather we shifted to the other hotel which they arranged. At 12am, we had to carry our luggage our own the with my 7 year old son and wife. The other hotel was 2 streets away and we didn’t get any help from the hotel staff in shifting the luggage and had to carry my 7 year old son and 3 big trolley luggages through the streets which was really difficult and unsafe. We were downgraded from 4 star to 3 star and the management never gave any sort of compensation. Even the breakfast was very basic. Had horrible experience and I will never book with Rydges. I hope this reaches to their senior management team and no one else have to go through this kind of experience with them.”

“Unfortunately it was been such an underwhelming experience. Booked with Meriton expecting a 2 bedroom luxury apartment however it has been quite poor. Checked into first room as we were level 23 you would think you have entered a smoking level. I guess not their fault but guests clearly smoking. Spoke to reception downstairs and to be fair we’re quite helpful. Moved into our second room it would seem like the showers had never been cleaned. Black mould everywhere and bugs flying around the shower. It didn’t even smell clean. The room felt dirty that’s for sure. Moved into my third room with 2 young kids by this stage we are defeated almost considered leaving. The room seemed cleaner however still some mould in the bathroom but not as bad. One of the bed sheets was completely ripped but could not be bothered speaking to reception about it again. Overall definitely not a luxury experience and definitely not worth the price. I’m sure there are much better options and I would definitely think twice about staying at a Meriton hotel. I was offered $60 off to cover my late check in. I’m still considering leaving in the morning once the kids are rested.”

“A great hostel by Australian standards. Roomy and tall pods with enough space around the mattress to keep a few belongings close by. Each pod has a privacy curtain, power socket, light and a couple of hooks for hanging your jacket/towel/handbag. The mattress was comfortable and they provide bedding, a towel and soap. I stayed during a heatwave and the room was a comfortable temperature for sleeping. The lockers are big enough for a backpack and a few other small items. There was enough space in the room for everyone to leave their suitcases against the wall. The showers were clean and spacious with good hot eater. Kitchen was good enough for basic cooking. Wifi worked fine. My flight arrived late and they were kind enough to let me check in late (the caretaker let me in and provided a temporary key to use until the front desk opened for check in). The only issue was that you can hear the music from a nearby nightclub very loudly until around 3am. It's loud enough that earplugs don't block it out. That said, the location is great - it's central and close to the train station.”

I have yet to try their drinks (as I have to drive that night), but I heard they have excellent selections. I also heard they offer $15 steak, which I think is great.
