“Perfectly situated hotel right in the centre of Newcastle. Only a very short walk to the main station and light rail. Parking was easy and the buffet breakfast was excellent. The rooms were okay, and the service was exceptional. For a holiday it was great, and I'd imagine for a business trip it'd tick all of the boxes too. Thank you!”

Living Room was an odd shape but spacious! Have recommend this hotel to my parents for when they come to Newcastle again. Will definitely be returning here!”

“I needed to try "Newcastle's Best Pizza" and it's safe to say it isn't. It's good pizza, don't get me wrong, but it's nowhere near the best in and around Newcastle. We had the potato and rosemary which was really nice, a good balance of sweet onion and toppings. I really wanted blue cheese on it but they didn't have it. I feel like the pizza needs something like that. The Margherita was very tasty, probably one of the best I have had. Seemed like it had truffle oil on it, although not listed, so that may have just been my taste deceiving me. We also had cheese and herd squares, they were decent. I'm not sure if they offer share plates, we certainly weren't and to me that's a major flaw in any service point. It feels like a takeaway shop with tables if you want to eat there. Would I go back, sure, if I'm in the area and craving pizza and don't want to drive 10-15 minutes to my favourite pizza shop but this wouldn't be a place I would go out of my way to go to again.”

“While this place is not the Ritz, it's got everything you need, and it's pretty comfortable. The staff were great, and there were some nightly activities laid on. You could also borrow bikes and surf boards. The only downside for us was that we were right at one end of the building, and there was only one male bathroom on our floor right at the other end. Quite a way and not ideal during the night.”

“As a hostel I don’t have many expectations other than expecting it to be pretty dirty and smell bad- which it lived up to and I am fine with.. being a hostel and all. However, no noise curfew? How is anyone going to get sleep while dealing with the heat and general grossness of the place when the guests have no enforced noise curfew?? I got like max 3 hours sleep due to yelling and screaming drunk guests blasting music all night. I get that it’s a hostel but wow surely atleast a 12/1am noise curfew??? And all that for $70 a night. Genuinely a park bench would be as good if not better than this place.”

“I stayed at the Elizabeth Motor Inn Adamstown this week. Never again. I booked the room for three nights. I checked out on the afternoon of the second day and asked for a partial refund. I was told the cancellation policy meant I wouldn't get back a cent. My phone charger was left in the room. When I contacted the venue I was told that there would be a fee involved for the return of my phone charger. Perhaps the $130 cancellation fee would cover the cost of posting my phone charger. Apparently not. The return postage of my phone charger would cost me $20. A small markup from the Post Office's charge of $10.60. I expressed my dissatisfaction of the above with the owner of the Inn. He told me 'get on your bike' as the call ended. Thank you for the professionalism.”
