“Quality, affordable hotel just a few blocks away from Delray beach. Pros: - Fairly clean room - Comfortable bed - Balcony w/ chairs - Great view on east-facing side - Walking distance to beach - Large space - Full kitchen + living room area - Black-out shades on all windows - Modern, well-stocked bathroom - Helpful staff - Great food in the area - Pool (I didn't use, so can't speak to quality) Minor Cons (in my experience): - Balcony door was open when I arrived; some bugs had made their way inside (small annoyance, not a big deal at all); AC was still on trying to battle the heat outside; - Alarm clock was set for 6am when I get there; I hadn't noticed and was planning on getting a bit more sleep - Not a very new building, if that's what you're looking for Overall, it was a great stay and I'd definitely come back. The cons I mentioned above were very minor, and two of them were probably just flukes that happened to affect my room.”

“I read a few reviews that claim the rooms were not clean? The room I had was spotless. It was probably one of the cleanest rooms I ever had. Also was a nice big room with a big refrigerator and everything you need for your stay. We enjoyed the coffee and breakfast the next morning as well. I made myself a bowl of grits with cheese that was delicious. Close to the airport without the airport noises. I didn't even know the airport was nearby while inside the hotel. When outside, you can see and hear the planes, but that did not bother me at all. The hotel was very convenient and close to the places I needed to go to, and finding parking there was easy. Wanted to try that cool looking golf place next door, but it was closed for wind damage repairs. Have to come back for that next time. It's definitely my go-to hotel when I need to be in that area.”

“Homewood is one of my favorite places to stay when I travel! and well kept is and this location is no exception!...and I'd rate it as one of the best ones I've stayed in so far...and there have been several! The hotel is clean and well kept! Staff was wonderful and very accommodating, regardless of whatever department they worked in. Reception had great suggestion on how to maneuver around the city and places to eat. It was my 1st visit to West Palm Beach; definitely won't be my last!”

“I'm sorry but this is not what I expected. Room 210 then 207 same thing. I wish I could post the pictures I took 1- the bed is wabely and very noisy. 2- all the furniture is old. 3- sofa was covered with a sheet because of the stains on it. 4- A/C is loud. 5-There was no ice bucket. 6- The window blinds have openings that you can see in from outside. 7- mattress is very very old and not even a queen size. 8- The classtop stove was cracked 9- the whole hotel went into total darkness.No electric power, had to eat diner in total darkness. 10- roaches in the first room and roaches in the second room they move us to. And I have pictures to prove it. 11- some kind of dirty towel was left behind the toilet. ****************** Positive about this place... 1-The pool is ok 2-The lady in the front desk was very pleasant and try to help us. 3- I'm disable and I serve this great country of ours. But a first floor room was impossible to obtain. AND THAT'S IT. WILL I STAY HERE AGAIN.? NO... I RATHER PAY MORE AND STAY AT ANOTHER HOTEL. This was to celebrate our anniversary and was disappointed 😔”

“I visited July 2023. When I arrived they gave me the key to my room. When I walked in it was full of propane gas smell. I checked the stove and saw the gas burner had been left on. It must have been for some time because the smell was through out the room and very bad. The office moved me to another room. That new room had a VERY LARGE patch of mold on the ceiling. The bed was extremely uncomfortable. I did not stay. I asked for my money to be returned, which they did. Fortunately, for me I was only a few hours away from home. If you are considering a long trip to Delray Breakers, I hope your experience is better than mine or you will be in a very difficult position. The office manager was cooperative but very unfriendly and unprofessional. (not mike, his wife).”
