“Loved my stay here. This was my first ever time staying in a hostel, and it was exactly what I needed. Friendly employees, good spaces to study/work, good security, great food! I only had one roommate in my 6 person dorm, so that was fine but I can't speak for the full experience of all travelers. The buildings seem very historic and fit neatly into the landscape of NW Portland. I feel very happy now knowing that I have a cheap place to stay and feel welcome if I'm ever back in Portland again.”

“Had a great stay here during a blizzard. Despite the fact that everything was shut down in downtown Portland, we enjoyed our stay there. It's a pretty swanky place to stay, with a room down in the basement where you can hang out and enjoy a beverage and catch up with friends. “This hotel is really nice and in a really nice location. It’s close to the airport and they do a free airport shuttle. It’s also close to a lot of stores and restaurants. They don’t do free breakfast and the breakfast is a little pricey. The room we stayed in was clean and comfortable. It was big. We had our baby with a portable crib and there was plenty of room.”

“This hotel stole money from my brother. He was there on a work trip and the room was paid for in full before they checked in. The front desk took his card to “secure” the room and then proceeded to charge multiple charges for $371 and $321 and over drafted his account and refused to reimburse. There was no damage to the room in any way. The manager of the hotel said they were “looking into it”. He had his HR department call and fight with the hotel for a day and then had to report the charges to his bank as fraud. They were able to recover one of the charges and are still working on the next one. Horrible service. Also very random but they also stole his deodorant when they cleaned his room and it was inside of his suitcase when he left the room.”

“The staff were helpful and friendly!! We enjoyed the breakfast and coffee each morning. Our bed was comfortable and we slept well. We had everything we needed for a restful trip. We also enjoyed the pool and hot tub a couple times. It was a great stay! Thank you!!”

“What a great hotel! Nice and clean, super friendly staff, and comfortable rooms, all located in a very central location. There were offers of free martinis and coffee as well. Breakfast was available, and they have a restaurant attached, which seemed to be popular. We stayed in a standard king, and they accommodated an early check in. We completed check in and check out online, which was very convenient. Please note, there were certain aspects of the room design that was strange to us. The bathroom door slides and doubles as the closet door, which meant there was a humorous moment where my husband’s luggage prevented me from leaving the bathroom. Easily fixed by moving it. The other, the door for the shower opens in towards the shower. For somebody in a much larger body like myself, that meant going into the corner of the shower and having the door bump my belly to close it. This won’t be an issue except for a very small percentage of people. The hotel responded elsewhere that there are other rooms with different layouts, so just ask. I didn’t realize until I went to shower the next day.”
