“Location is great but the hotel is a fairly dated. Ironically the walls of the hotel is dotted with fantastic paintings, but the walls they hang on are in dire need of a refresh. WHEN BOOKING MAKE SURE YOU REQUEST A NON-BASEMENT ROOM. We were disappointed to arrive and find the room was a drab windowless dungeon. These rooms should be retired or sold at a far lower cost.”

“Good location, easy access to trams. Clean rooms. Stocked fridge, better than most five stars hotels I have stayed in. Always stayed in the apartments. Had an exam in Melbourne and opted for the rooms, imagine my surprise when I find out there is not microwave in the room and neither is there is shared microwave. That is the very least any hotel/motel should provide. Microwaves are cheap and I don't even mind where it is kept, but there should be access to one. They don't do checkin before 12. You got to pay extra for that even when the room is ready. Regretted staying in the room and won't stay here again. Having to check in at crest on Barkly also sucks.”
