“There was an issue with our room prior to our arrival but the staff couldn't have been more helpful, allocating us an excellent substitute. The pool complex is full of well-tended greenery, from hibiscus bushes to palm trees. In the middle of this garden is the very large pool and lots of umbrellas and sun beds. The bar and dining room is next to the pool and has excellent staff. It's got a friendly laid-back atmosphere whether you're dressed for dinner in the dining room, or you've just rocked up for a couple of happy hour cocktails at sundown. We found it beautifully peaceful and relaxing. We would certainly not hesitate to return. Thanks for a great three weeks, everyone!”

“Excellent option for staying in peace and quiet at Tenerife, far from the large tourist-machines. Situated in the middle of a gated banana plantation, close to the sea, you can really relax and enjoy your stay. You will need a rental car to get around and the restaurant is so-so for dinner. Breakfast was very good, though. The employees were nice and service minded. The beds vere not very good- two single beds joined as a double- flimsy and hard. Modern shower/ bathroom and plenty of hot water and good water pressure. No fridge in the room- a big minus, but fridges available in shared spaces which worked ok. To those fearing insects, given that it is a banana plantation- don't. Bugs were not bothersome. There were some banana/fruit flies, but in general it was nothing to worry about.”

“I have often looked at this hotel and thought the location and photographs of the rooms they display looked wonderful. However we stayed there for 2 nights last week and were sorely disappointed in the reality. The apartment we stayed in (08) is in serious need of renovation. The furniture is old and uncomfortable. The room had an appalling smell of really strong cleaning products which I informed the hotel about straight away. It was so bad I instructed them not to bother sending anyone to clean the next day as it was so offensive. Later I came across a cockroach in the bedroom and wondered if the smell was actually insect repellent? I scooted it out of the room into the corridor with some card and instructed the cleaning lady next door who stomped on it. Also we were on the ground floor so our balcony did not have the better views of the floors higher up and it had a huge plant also obstructing our sea view. I am sure guests would rather look at the sea than a huge plant. None of the other rooms seemed to have this problem. Good points. The staff did let us have an early check in and made up the bed settee for me as requested (but I was the one sleeping on that and it was very uncomfortable) The pool and the pool area are lovely. We didn’t mind the walk to and into town as it was worth it for the views. Considering the problems we had I thought the price we paid was too much for a 3star property even if it is high season in Tenerife. We wouldn’t stay again. Disappointing.”

“Absolutely loved it here. Staff are very friendly and helpful. Ivan was great. Really nice clean room in a great location. Roof top pool is very nice with free towels, the roof top bar is good too with happy hour and great views. We had a late flight home and we were able to shower and freshen up at the gym and the reception staff gave us towels and shower gels etc too which was very useful. Loads of good restaurants and bars nearby and the Pasarella centre up the hill a bit has more. Would definitely return to here and recommend to others.”

“Very nice apartment hotel with great value for money. The room was spacious and clean. The kitchen had everything you would need, only the bathroom was a bit small. The only minus is that there is no air conditioning. Also, the pool is only open from 10am to 6 pm, but we later learned that this is rather normal on the Canary Islands. The hotel is located very centrally in Valle Gran Rey with a supermarket, a bakery and other smaller shops and restaurants just around the corner. The beach is just a 5 minutes walk away. They don't have dedicated parking but you will always find a spot on the street. The staff was very friendly and supportive whenever we needed something. We were staying here for a hiking vacation and will definitely consider staying here again if we ever come to La Gomera again.”

“We spent a week at this lovely apartment. The apartments are very clean and well equipped. The swimming pool was clean and had pleasantly heated water. The staff were so helpful and nothing was too much trouble. There is a small supermarket next door that had all basic essentials and a lovely bakery next to the apartment too. The apartments are on a hill. We found it easy to walk down but preferred to get a taxi back up. Taxis were very reasonable.The pool bar serves hot snacks which are great on lazy days.I highly recommend this apartment. I would definitely like to visit again!”

“We stayed for a long weekend. The hotel is lovely. Very clean, staff are very friendly. Rooms are exceptional. They have a sister hotel across the street you can visit and also use facilities. which is far more livelier if you prefer that. We enjoyed the relaxed chilled atmosphere of our one. Only down side is its a far walk to shops beach etc....but they do run a courtesy bus a fee times a day. Definitely recommend.”

“For us we had a group of 8 friends and family and we needed to be close by to the beach, cafes, bars and restaurants which we found Udalla Park was in a great location and a short walk to all of these! The rooms were cosy but still very spacious as well has having our own roof space for sunbathing and relaxing. Very good value for money and the staff were very helpful across the whole holiday! No issues with sleep at all comfy and clean rooms!”

“Very very good!! Lovely room, large, quiet, central location, check-in staff were very friendly and spoke english and recommended eateries which was very useful. The shower floods a little due to the shower tray design but a mop is provided so it's not a problem. There's bars and restaurants nearby, parking is on the street but we had no problem finding a parking space each day (visited beginning january 22). Beautiful garden with amazing tropical plants!
