“Very nice four star hotel with mostly great value. Wonderful service,l and great staff in all departments (not obvious in Czech Republic) . Would give it four and half star review if was possible. Would not atay here in summer - no AC, and even in fall weather room got a little stuffy on sunny days. Great facilities, though some are really overpriced (like tennis), and others just an ok value (like massages). But others are free (heated pool, gym, whirlpool tubs), and facilities are open late until 2130, and a la carte restaurant until 2300, which is great! A la carte restaurant has great menu, and many of the dishes (though not all) are very very well prepared, and prices are great considering quality and level of hotel (and alcohol prices are great by any measure). Main dining room is just ok, and particularly annoying was that clean up starts before closing time, which is really unpleasent if you like to eat late breakfast/ dinner. Alao annoying was that even basic drinks are not included in price of dining room dinner. Tap water in the room was great and we used that rather than paying for same water in restaurants. Rooms are spacious, and clean, and are serviced daily, including new bathrobes and slippers daily if you want. The one we were in was a little outdated, but nothing really wrong. Bathtub was really deep which made it hard to use for both elderly and young family memebers. It is worth contacting hotel directly if youre a family because they have some creative family rooms (like separate bedroom plus main room with 3-4 singles and a large hallway with seperate bath and toilet). We stayed in the fall off-season, so cannot say anything about it as skeeing hotel.”

“We had the opportunity to stay here with my girlfriend for a few days and were dissatisfied with the service. From the very beginning, the reservation was made for one person, but then I changed the reservation for 2 people over the phone (the difference in price was promised to be very minimal). However, upon arrival, it turned out that the price was twice as much as expected. When I tried to clarify this situation with the hotel manager (her name is Anna), she did not speak English or pretended not to. “I recently had the pleasure of staying at the Platinum Apartments and I must say, it was a delightful experience. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with a beautiful hotel in a prime location. We had room k206 slightly far away from the reception but big plus was that area was really quiet and nearby from the center. Their Italian restaurant, Piatti, offered delicious meals that satisfied our taste buds. Also very nice approach to kids! One of the highlights of our stay was the special attention given to the children. The hotel had a plethora of features that catered to their needs and ensured they had a memorable time. The only minor drawback was that the multifunctional room lacked a bar or beverage options, but considering the overall experience, it did not overshadow the positive aspects. The service at Platinum Apartments was top-notch. The staff members were friendly and proactive, going above and beyond to ensure our satisfaction. I would like to specifically mention a blonde lady whose name I unfortunately forgot. She was instrumental in extending our reservation, which was initially booked through a third-party platform, for an extra night. Not only did she secure the same suite for us, but she also arranged for a late check-out to accommodate our schedule. Another staff member who deserves recognition is Sophia/Sofia. She assisted us with transportation services from Sklarzska Poruba to Prague and her professionalism and excellence were evident throughout the entire process. Overall, our stay at Platinum Apartments was nothing short of amazing. Our twins had a truly memorable experience, thanks to the thoughtful facilities and exceptional service provided by the hotel staff. We highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a beautiful location, great facilities, and outstanding service. “A beautiful modern hotel with a newly equipped room. Everything always clean and tidy. I really appreciate the opening hours of the gym - 24 hours a day, and the playroom for children from 8 to 9. I would only complain about two things: 1) the heating in the room, which only turns on when you move, so you always return to the cold, which isn’t very pleasant at the end of October. 2) The capacity of the hotel does not fully correspond to the capacity of the pool and restaurant. The pool is very beautiful, but it is always crowded. The same in the restaurant, where despite the relatively long time interval for breakfast and dinner, there often isn’t place to sit down and, above all, the staff does not have time to replenish either the food or the clean dishes. Also, be prepared for high prices at the bar, cocktails from 28 to 38 zł, soft drinks around 20 zł, beer too, small dessert 20-25 zł.”

No interest, no smile. Breakfast was sufficient but we saw much better around. Only positive is their pool, but its surrounding/design is not very welcoming either.”

“The guesthouse is located in a quiet, peaceful area with convenient access to the Szklarska Poręba-Jakuszyce railway station. You can really relax (peace and quiet, hot water, kettle in the room). Beautiful views from the windows - of the entire Karkonosze range. From the guesthouse - 15 minutes' walk to the town center. The only drawback - smoking rooms, from which cigarette smoke penetrated into our bathroom and onto the balcony (no possibility of opening the window and leaving towels in the bathroom!).”
