“My husband and I recently stayed at this hotel during our honeymoon, and we were extremely disappointed and we DO NOT recommend this hotel for anyone. 1. DIRTY ROOMS: The hotel appeared to be outdated and in dire need of renovation (the online pictures were extremely deceiving). The room we were provided was not only unsanitary but also lacked the basic comforts one would expect during such a special occasion. It was disheartening to witness the neglect apparent in the overall condition of the hotel. 3. EXTREMELY LOUD: the incessant noise from the events hosted by the hotel permeated every corner of the premises, making it impossible for us to sleep at night (noise continued until 1-3 AM), In light of these circumstances, we approached the hotel staff, expressing our dissatisfaction and requesting to cut our stay short. Despite our valid concerns, we were met with indifference and unhelpfulness. We asked for a refund for the nights we were leaving early, the staff responded extremely rudely and refused to rectify the situation. . This was one of the worst hotel experiences we have ever encountered, I do not recommend this hotel to anyone.”

“Fantastic hotel with wonderful staff (special mention to the cleaners and breakfast crew). Breakfast is really tasty, fresh and offers a wide range of local products. The rooms are spacious, clean, have a great adjustable AC. The rooms that do not offer direct sea view still offer a great view of the private pool and the mountains (and the sea sometimes too!). The pool is quite big and despite perfectly catching the sun, also has nice shaded spots under the lemon trees and rose bushes. There are plenty of sun chairs and umbrellas. There is also a smaller pool for toddlers or just to sit and read with your legs in the water. The location is wonderful, a minute from the beach but not on the seafront, avoiding loud noises. Only 15 min walk from Mari Posa beach with dreamy sand dunes and pines and 20min walk to Alghero old town. There are countless bars, cafes, restaurants along the sea front and a great cycling lane. The hotel offers a reasonably priced rental of bikes with insurance. Bikes are great quality and are all terrain which is perfect if you plan to explore the many archaeological sites and natural reserves of the area. Finally, the hotel is located near the major public bus routes to go from and to the airport in less than 30min and for less than 2euro. Overall great value and quality, could not recommend more.”

“AVOID! Worst place on Costa Smeralda. I Do not recommend to anyone. The Management, the owner and the staff at the restaurant were impolite and even rude. Our car was damaged (scratched) on the parking lot of the hotel but the hotel management completely did not care about it. It is an old resort which has not been renovated for many years, swimming pool was dirty, food was poor, apartment was small and non functional (very small kitchenette). Avoid staying at this place!”

“The apartment was cozy and cute. We felt pretty good the whole week. The swimming pool is nice and the atmosphere is family-like so we all felt really great. They have a semi-private beach, and the crew gave us a badge for the whole week in order to park close by, so that was pretty sweet. The only drawback would be that they do not have air-con, so even though opening the doors and windows let us had some wind, we were exposed to mosquitoes. They should renew a bit the property so they could step up a bit”

“My son (15 years old) and I left London for a week in Sardinia on 8th August. We arrived to lovely warm weather and as I wanted to give my son more of a travel experience, we took the bus from Olbia airport to Tanuanella which I thought was closer to the hotel than it was ! We started walking with our lugguage and 2 mins later a lovely lady in her car asked us where we were going and insisted on driving us to the cala mirto. We had a friendly welcome and the staff were so welcoming and patient with my attemps at speaking as much Italian as I could ! The feel was very relaxed around the pool and the gardens around our room which felt very much like home after a night or two. I was a bit worried, how we were going to get around and how I was going to entertain my son ! But the front of house staff helped me hire a scooter and told us about the surrounding restaurants and the local bus time table which secured a wonderful trip. I would highly recommend this hotel for the relaxed personalised touch which really suited us. The simple clean pool area. The breakfasts which were so nice and the rural artisan countryside surrounding the wonderful beaches very close by.”
