“We had an outstanding stay at this wonderful boutique hotel in Florence. Personal service, great location in a beautifully maintained property with all the charm and character of an older Italian building. The room was beautiful and very comfortable, including the beds and linens. The main floor lounge was a lovely option to hang out in. The self-serve coffee and complimentary refreshment area was a welcome delight, including the ability to fill your water bottle with either still or sparkling water. Enjoyed the evening happy hour with the other guests. Nice opportunity to meet others. Lovely breakfast room with a wonderful included breakfast. Highly recommend. This exceeded all of our expectations.”

“All staff were very helpful and there was always someone around to help. Everyone always had a smile on their face which meant that everyone felt very approachable. Lovely service! The general atmosphere was welcoming and safe. There were activities you could join if you felt like it but were also able to have a quiet night if that was what you wanted. The free pasta for dinner and drink voucher was also very generous and much appreciated. A range of ages were visiting, even some families with kids. This was nice to see a lot of different people enjoying the space. There was also the opportunity to join activities in the night if you wanted to experience a bit more of a party atmosphere. Being right near the tram and very close to the train station made our stay even easier to visit Florence.”

“The wine tour with lunch is a must-do on any trip to Florence/Tuscany. This wine estate is the perfect escape from the crowded streets of Florence and is an easy taxi ride from the city center. The tour was extremely interesting and educational and the entire estate is beautiful. Giovanni, our guide was passionate and knowledgeable. All of the wine was delicious, as were the many courses of the meal and the olive oil. We just wish we had more room in our suitcases to bring home more wine and olive oil.”

“Great place as my husband and I had to switch to this hotel due to a mishap at another hotel. Rooms are clean and location can’t be beat! Staff are a bit unfriendly and when I sent my things for laundry service, one item was not returned. Understanding that mistakes happen, there was no attempt to let Me know of what happened, and even so the person at the front desk did not apologize on their behalf. Instead I was met with attitude. The solution was that they will ship it to me which is fine but I just did not like how this situation was handled at all. This left a very bad taste in my mouth. Otherwise- hotel was good!”

“The best hostel I have been to so far. Rooms were clean (I stayed in private rooms). The staff were very friendly and helpful. You get a free drink upon check-in. Free coffee, free water, and free snacks sometimes. The hostel has a kitchen to make your own food. They also have free pasta for you to cook. Terrace was nice. The hostel has a bar and they have activities and events for everyone to participate in. Close to all the major attractions, restaurants, and markets. 5 min walk to the train station. Very friendly and social atmosphere. Def coming back if i visit Florence again.”

“This is a nice location. However, the room had a very bad odor. The building is ancient, I get it, but the smell was really musty. We had to keep the windows open to air out the place. The AC had no external circulation and had a line dripping into the bathroom for condensation. However, the hosts were very very friendly and nice! Very secure location as well. I’d give the place 5 stars if it was not for the smell.”

“The room was maybe not the best. We found a lot of mold especially in the bathroom, see pictures below. The shower cabin was extremely small and when we arrived we found a wet towel in it. I liked the bed. It was comfy. We were unlucky to get the room next to the hallway toilet and we could hear everything from there. There were guests who used it very late in the night which made it a bit uncomfortable. The location was really good though. Despite the location being good if you have any particular health issues I would recommend looking for another place as the mold can be very dangerous.”

“Great place to stay if passing by with a car. Beautiful countryside and rooms are very cosy and nicely fitting with the country atmosphere. Upon arrival staff was very helpful, showed us two room options and overall throughout the whole stay they recommended us many places to have dinner. We also really enjoyed the restaurant, it was a really well thought out menu and service was just amazing. They also have a sauna and spa services at a very reasonable price. Thank you for a great stay. 😊 only thing I would say is that the pool was a bit cold (then again this would surely not be a problem for any other season).”

“I could live here! What a wonderful place and the staff make it the ultimate place to stay. The room was fresh and clean. The pool was amazing and some of the best food you will find anywhere. Only picking point was the music playing during dinner. There was a DJ that didn't play the most appropriate dinner music in a place like this. While a fan of Pick Floyd, Comfortably Numb and other classic rock songs would not have been my pick. “We stayed at the Arte Boutique hotel in September 2023. We were with our toddler and our dog and were made to feel like home. Aneta and the rest of the team went the extra mile to make our stay in Florence really special. The location is ideal, very close to the city centre but without the hustle and bustle of it. The complimentary afternoon aperitifs set you off in the right mood for your evening in the city. Our room was quite spacious and the beds very comfy. The breakfast and cleaning staff were friendly and eager to help. When it was time to go, we were offered a farewell drink from Aneta and she also helped us to bring down our luggage. We were really thrilled with our stay and we are looking forward to staying there in our next trip.”

“We had a wonderful stay in the Hotel. Perfect location for discovering Florence, with easy access by foot to all the attractions. The breakfast buffet was excellent with plenty of choice. The room was very spacious and comfortable. I have not given the room 5 stars as we had a ground floor bedroom and unfortunately there was no chance to sleep late as the music from the breakfast room / foyer started at around 06:45 and this can be heard quite clearly in the room.”

“Hotel Marrani came our way on a booked car trip through Italy. A lucky choice for us. The hotel, the surroundings and the owners provided us with a pleasant stay. Although the hotel has 165 rooms available thanks to several outbuildings, it still represents a village atmosphere. The hotel also serves as a local shop and we were treated to goodies every evening by a local club of friends who met on the terrace every evening. By the way, Claudia, the owner and only daughter of the couple who started the hotel, also pampered us every afternoon when we came back from our trips. Please note: the hotel is within walking distance of the Ronta train station and you can arrive in the center of Firenze in almost one hour. We were there in September and still during the covid-19 epidemic. There were few guests and yet Claudia, her husband Giuseppe and their children paid attention to the guests. Our table was provided with fresh flowers. Our room was fine. It is worth mentioning that we felt very welcome. Claudia speaks very good English. Yes, there is also an extensive possibility for swimming, sunbathing and lazing next to the hotel. In short, we recommend this hotel!”
